You all know how bots are everywhere? How they infect training spots? Let me start of by saying that, this is not a rant, this is simply constructive criticism of the people who whine/moan/anal about bots, but who continue to participate in horrible grinding practices.

Well, think of this, people who apparently solo AND legit...

Why not, dare I say, join a party? Maybe get your guild or friends of a similar level together, find a spot, and kill as a team? Sure, team work, coordination, and a mix of various races and classes will be an order, but do you know what the result is? Here, let me give you an example!

I was power leveling a few hours last weekend, I was desperate to finally get my second honor buff- 20% run speed FTW!

My rule is to always power level in the spot with the most amount of gold/regular botters. For the first 5-10 minutes, I rape every single normal mob in a large radius of bots, but don't tough the party mobs. ( Anti Aggro ftw )

The result?

Approximately from 10:01 sro time to 10:09 sro time, every single green dot on the mini map except ours and TWO of brave, legit players telling me to "**** off, im solo grinding for fun" ( Read why these people are ..... on paragraphs 1 and 2 ) while training perfectly with no pause. But I thought the sight was BEAUTIFUL, and eventually only the ones with the name "fdsff" would return after 1-2 hours, the rest had moved...

So you see people, it might take longer to kill... It may take more pots, but thats if your Chinese. You still have a lot to contribute to the group, such as pulling, tanking, raping normal mobs on the side, even imbues-which if all 3 are on a monster, can be awesome.

That was my rant ( ok, it's basically a rant, plz dun hurt me :( ). I like to party with people at Generals, which may be why there are literally no bots there. Coincidence? YOU DECIDE!

I'd love to get into a good party when I'm grinding, but I usually solo grind in a 4-man exp distribution party because it's hard to find an 8-man party that actually knows what they're doing. My guild isn't very active, and varying levels across the spectrum (1-80) so I can't really pt grind with them.

One time I found an auto-share party with about 4 or 5 people in it at the mujigis. I joined, and everyone soloed their own mob. I kept picking different party members that I'd help kill their mob, and they would just move to the next one. Then if I was soloing a mob, no one would help.

There was one time I found an 8 man party at the penons. It wasn't too bad, at least everyone fought together, for the most part, or at least close together... but the party leader kept his distance.

I often find that most of the 8 man parties out there are item distribution, so I don't join them. Those kinds of parties are biased towards nukers and other damage dealers. So the rest of us get no drops out of it.

I often create an exp/item auto share party in the system named similar to "Penon party (no taxi)" and restrict it to lvl 48-90, but no one ever joins it.

All everyone wants to do is power level.

Those that actually do pt grind want item distro because they are usually greedy nukers that want all the drops.

So... I just stick to exp/item distribution parties for the extra 10% exp. I'm a chinese blader, so I have no problem solo grinding. I just wish people in the community would actually PLAY the game and build decent parties. :(

I find penon parties with people as low as 42 very good. 1 cleric, 2-3 tanks, rest damage dealers. Maybe that's why you can't get very many people in your pts, level limit too high?

means that there may be a correlation [connection] but that connection is not neccesarily the cause.in order to prove correlation is causation you must do more test. also is this a negative correlation it seems negative.

Possibly. I'll have to try setting it to lvl 42 and see what happens. However, I still find, most of the time, that people don't want item auto share. The few times I actually got someone to join, they quickly left and invited me to an exp auto share/item distribution party. I'm a blader so I don't do a ton of damage and in a party, I probably wouldn't get the kill, so item distro, I wouldn't get any drops at all out of it.

If you're going to do an auto share party, it should be all auto share. It's fair that way because everyone is contributing to the party and everyone should get something out of it besides just exp.
