Hi!! I play world of warcraft!! But i dont know if i should start with silkroad again :S What do you think??

Silkroad, WoW's graphics I heard are no comparison to SRO's. But besides, items, graphics, sound features and story lines of a MMORPG, you can't really expect a major difference in any of them.

Sooner or later, bots, and Mr. DC gets owned < JM.. But hey that's just my imagination.

I played 10 days trial of wow with my friend, it rocks. But I dont wanna get addicted to it, heard some crazy stories lol so I never continued with it.

I have wow but i dont play it ,i dont like the graphics etc.

30 year old men dieing from the lack of sleep and diet? Nah, that was just a myth, the real shit is when kids around the teens ages, commits suicide and or murder cause of losing a certain item, account or even not being able to join a guild. EMO, is not the way of life, especially for games. lol.

WoW is a stupid game. I mean that graphics is a total shet. It's like a friggin' comic book.
1st mmorpg i played is RuneScape
2nd Mu-Online
3rd Lineage][
4th Silkroad Online

Not including the 1st 2 games and comparing WoW to L2 or SRO... WoW is a total shet... I tryed wow aswell... But not for long, cuz i didn't like it. So yeah. Stay at SRO

I have to admit though, RuneScape was 'the' shit. Gameplay is probably better than some client based MMORPGs out here.

As for Mu Online, a boring game unless you make your own community *wink* (Final Descent Mu).

Yeah something like that, nah I have a friend who got bitten by the addiction real bad. From the moment he wakes up he turns on the computer and play til the night ( he dun have a job though ). Only time I ever see him nowadays is when we go to the pub at weekends or some party. Other then that its just wow for him, so ill think Ill pass that. But its still a great game from what ive seen.

I see, though any game can get to an addiction to that of your friend's point. Hopefully SRO hasn't gotten addicted to me, I can careless if I failed a +13 on any sun 8D atm. Recently I failed +7 without lucky, immortal, astral, or steady on my lv64 +6 2hs. I started laughing, and went outside to play bball. o.o

True, but feels like that game is just so uberpawning that its not hard to get addicted lol.

Well goodluck with your decision making, either way you'll just be playing a game. I rather get addicted to sex, cause well, it's in reality. lol.

I dunno... The best game i played was Lineage][... Graphics own, gameplay rox... Castle sieges, pvps, clan wars, events, raid bosses and a lotta other stuff. The reason i don't play l2 anymore is just because i played it like 4 years xD. I'm totaly sick of it because i know everything about that game... About SRO it's a difficult game tho. @ SRO there is a gameplay of jobing and etc etc. On l2 you won't find that. Actually i don't even see a point of playing l2. U grind just to get high lvls, your gear, get a castle and defend it, build up a clan, pvp's. On SRO u grind like hell, but when u get high lvls u can do awesome jobing, u can pvp, clan wars etc etc. Loads of interesting stuff. The thing i didn't liked in SRO when i logged in the 1st time was the radar lawl. When i turn my mouse the arrow in the radar doesn't move and it was very difficult to understand where the hell am i going (i was a noob and i didn't knew where to go) so it was a pain. Same with the map. But everything else is pretty cool. Ofc not including bots, spambots, server traffics & a lot of dumb people. But hey! It's retail 4 free - what do ya expect?
So comparing these 2 games we find out:
SRO - good gameplay, interesting game, loads of fun, shet map and radar and some other small probs. A lotta evil players who act like arses.
L2 - sh1t game play, awesome graphics, interesting game & addicting game and less dumb ppl when in SRO. Tho more good people then bad.
Anyway SRO FTW.

Anyway basicly u can get hooked to any game. Just find the 1 ya like, and go there to loose ur life... All ppl who are in these forums are loosing theyr life in front of they pc's. And any1 who say i have a life are pretty wrong. Cuz every minute u spend playing is a loss of ur life. The only good thing outta games is that u find interesting ppl and u learn languages. Etc i'm lithuanian, but mostly i learnt english from games. Now i can even speak in english not bad what i couldn't do like 4 years ago...

You cannot lose your life - unless you die. Anything that happens in your life, any certain thing you do or any event taking place, is not losing life. Especially if you are spending your own time to sit in front of a PC. That is your decision.

I prefer it called: wasting time or losing time. But losing your life while doing things we like to do, or so not, is a bit harsh considering that some people are hardcore gamers.

Im not the one who were thinking of going back to sro xD The author of this thread is lol. Im still on Sro ^^

Well sro can be F2P if you choose to not buy silk unlike WoW cuz there is a $15 per month fee i belive so it is up o you or your wallet.

i played MU, then was able to try lineage as well but when i tried sro it's the best MMORPG ever..

MU has no goal u just lvl to kill other ppl that was boring..
then lineage was nice but the hell u need to run for like 15mins then die after att wrong monster..
