My guild master tried to take a guild emblem. But he is not succeeding. :(
He made a pic of 16*16 and named it guildmark.bmp. He placed it in his silkroad folder and used the scroll he bought from the guild manager. But then he gets the error that there isn't a guildmark in his folder. But he put it in. :/
What could be the problem? Thanks for help in advance.

.bmp is right. What's the lvl of your Guild? You have to be Guild Lv 4.

Sorry if Im reviving it. Tell him to open it in Paint Program, save it as a 14 bit.bmp. Then save it to the folder as guildmark.bmp. Once you have done this, left click it and go to properties, make sure it says 16x16 24 bit and it says guildmark.bmp, often u name it that way and it comes out as guildmark.bmp.bmp which is incorrect.

if still having trouble, tell him to make sure the file is named guildmark, and not guildmark.bmp, should be a .bmp file, but shouldnt have the extension.

Or better yet... under "Tools, Folder Options, View" make sure "Hide extensions for known file types" is UNCHECKED and that the file IS called guildmark.bmp and not just guildmark or guildmark.bmp.bmp.

Thanks to Microsoft for hiding the real filename from everyone so that our Windows experience is less confusing!

Yeah, usually file extensions are hidden by default, and people will add the .bmp to the end which pisses off SRO and causes it not to work, so yeah, basically what you said.
