Luck STONES

ok ive bought like 6 things today all euros and chinese 8d weps.. +2s +3s with luckies and 2 blues on them.....Not 1 luck stone....
It said need 7 or 8 spaces on each of them
It worked perfectly all last week. Did JM change something because ive lost 20+mill today.
Is it just me or anyone else?

Sorry to hear that, bad luck.

It is random, as you said last week you had a windfall, and now you have none. You did everything right up to the point of purchasing equipment for the purpose of rondoing them. Something I never like to advocate for precisely this reason (items with +++ on them cost more, but doesnt affect your chances of rondoing a luck stone).

Just destroy rondo equip drops that have alot of blues on them next time :/. You wont loose as much gold that way.

the ++ items were a bargain.. a few warlock rods and staffs+3 and +2 were 2.3mill each

not only weap gives luck stones, it'd be cheaper if u buy clothing with luck on em...

i got 2 luck stones from ronding a prot chest with 3 luck on it

Well those are cheap but I would try to resell them instead. You have to understand there are 30 different stones you could get from destroy rondoing an equipment piece. Even with 8 slots needed free, which includes 4 random elements, thats just 4 max possible stones (some claim 5, but I have never seen so..). So to get a luck stone, your highest possible probability is 4/30 = 13%.

Thats just over 1 in 10. Destroy rondo 10 items with 8 slots required open, and you'll get 1 luck stone (most of the time).

Its always completely random. As someone said, you'll be much better of rondo-ing equipment. Once I bought 2 items, 400k each, got 1 luck stone from one 2 from the other. Next day, I spent about 5 mill on equip and didnt get any. You win some, you lose some. If it was THAT easy to make money from luck stones, they would be so low in price it wouldn't be worth doing.

Yep, random - but the more slots an item requires gives you a better chance of getting them.

For example - I had several 3rd tier 8d items that didn't sell in stall, so decided to break them. Most were clean, the others had one blue. I got another blue on them (i use the master/durability stat since that uses 8d elements and that's mostly what you get from breaking the item) to where they needed 8 spaces, and managed to get 4 luck stones, 1 str stone (8 more jade, 11 ruby stones) out of 11 items. any 3rd tier weaps or items with multi blues are the best to try.

Just keep trying! Try it on the 1m L72 clean weaps.

I made 8 ivn slots and destroyed daggers lv 68 like 4 blues on it and got 3 stones 2 of them lucky d8

Bad luck

I have a such story; I bought a bow which has 6 lucky blue and when all of them gone my bow was only +3 :banghead:
