I am lvl 9 and have 475 SP with 35% exp. I am getting sick of lvling slow and doing the same thing over and over again. Problem is, I need the 9 gap to get everything that I need. Is there a *fun* alternative to this, or is the only way kill, kill, kill, kill?

One more question. I heard debates about cold skills. Are these really worth getting for PvP?

*Using Blade.

Then just increase your gap as you go, each time you level your char and level your masterys/skills and you run out of SP increase your gap by 1. Thats what I do, keeps you leveling fast.

level 9?

and I personally wouldn't worry about pvp un'till later but, cold is good for the defense buffs, and you can grab the nuke if your pure int.

lvl9? that's eally painful, somone said before that most low level farmers never really each high level in the end. farm on strategic mobs like bandits, penons, nachals, snipers. at least you won't get tired of the same scenery.

Just have patience. I'm past halfway point. Did an entire lvl at 9 gap took about a month. Now 7 gapping to 72 if not done by then hopefully then people will stomach letting me in a general pty, which will speed it up immensely.

40k/190k For me I believe. I'm at a 5 gap, lv68 and I'm currently at 65%. Painful at leveling but, it'll be worth the PvP at the end. That's what I'm aiming for, PvP, jobs, etc.

Then again some of us will quit soon. Right? =p

About to start farming at 52. 9 Gap. Should be fun. My GM said he'd lend me a sos+7 mag91% spear though. Which was very nice of him xD

Still gonna be hard tho :(

i think you started it wrong, first of all if you are farming at the begining use bow no matter whats your (later) build, and u should 0 gap all the way to lvl 5 and maybe 7, THEN you start the gap and reach lvl 16, get a 3rd degree good bow and thats the time you START farming

There is no fun way to sp farm. You just have to do it. One of two ways: farm yourself, or get powerleveled in share party (mind you, as long as the higher level is not botting...). Neither of the two is fun (option two is faster but less fun b/c all you do is stand there and let someone else do all the killing).

You can play w/o farming (keep 0-3 gap), but you won't be able to bring up all of your skill trees evenly. Get the blade skills definitely, and try to balance any leftover points to fire and some light for movement.

Another idea - A Euro will need less sp to get to higher levels, since you only have two trees to worry about.

lol i remember when i first started sro, i kept on leveling unaware of skills and mastery lvl. I went from lvl 1-7 without increasing my mastery and thought "omg it gets harder and harder to lvl, and when do i get cool magic like those mofos next to me <.<"

Does the ratio of SP to EXP decrease as you fight harder monster?

gaps are the difference in lvls between ur max mastery lvl and ur current character lvl, for example, a 16 character with his or her highest mastery lvl at lvl 7 will be considered as having a 9 lvl gap. it all depends on the highest mastery lvl, doesnt matter if other masteries are lower.

as you increase ur gap, u will recieve less exp points and more skill exp points, thats why ppl use 7-9 gaps to farm sp. at 0 gap u get max exp points and min skill exp points, and im not sure whats max skill exp.. dunno if its 9 or not xD havnt heard of 10 gap..
correct me if im wrong lol..

okay hope that helps

I like the idea of farming at 52. Then when you get bored you can at least do some jobbing without getting mercilessly raped all the time like if you are L40 jobbing. And anyway, if you die, its ok, you are farming and need the 9 gap :P
