Well, as you see in my sig, my char is a lvl 36 right now. What I'm gonna do now is try to lvl up all the way with a 9 gap (right now it's a 6 gap), although lately I only play about couple hours a day.
Has anyone ever tried something as dumb as this?
And what are your thoughts about it?

hm.. you might get bored before you reached level 45, or maybe earlier!! it's boring to play with 9 gaps!!

36-80 wif 9 gap? u trying to sp farm for the 100 cap new skills?

It will go so slowwwwww and you will get bored and close ur gap

i farmed for a month at stronghold and 2 weeks at karra's....one thing i can tell you is that i'll never do it again.
if i do farmed it will be at cap lvl.

i am lv 39 with 7 gap right now.

Dont do it! If you want to farm de-lvl all the way down to 20 or something and get powerfarmed at ongs. Or start a new character and farm at ongs.

my guild master did it since lvl 9 now she's lvl 47 with about 220k sp
so...you can do it

I am currently level 54.

I farmed at level 16 until I had enough sps until level 33, then at level 42 I farmed again at sungsungs until I had enough sps for level 55, and now I'll farm at level 64 until I have enough sps until level 71.

lol i started farmed at lv 7 and was suppost to stop at 16.. but i stopped at 14 couse i got bored and level 7-16 with 9 gap do get a while.
I preffer framing at level 10 (as your masterys should be on 1).

ive done it at 60 and im 68 now with 80k SP

when i get to 70 ill have neough SP for 70 skills

if you did go to 39-80 wiht 9 gap the whole way you would have

2,434,632 SP

Yes, I've checked how much SP I'll get from doing this.
Obviously it will get boring quite fast, but again, I'm not playing too much right now anyway, so it should be fine.
Will probably be enough for more than 100 cap if I ever get there
I guess it could be a lot better if I had someone to plvl me.
And delvl'ing is NOT an option for me, ever.

Surely just 0 gapping and every now and again (ie 42 or 52 or 64) delevelling a mastery to make a 9 gap and farming would be quicker?

Never said it will go fast.
1 thing I forgot is quests. Should help a bit with the xp gain.

Tried it, hated it after 5 minutes of grinding...

1. The SP is Awsome
2. you need the SP For later stages

well i kinda screw my gap up and now im going for a 9 gap ready to be powerfarmed on Penons (Hopefully i can find someone ^_^)

0 gap to 80 and farm

oh gawd im almost killing myself with my 5 gap at 76... I get 1% in an hour of insane grinding <_< and im suppose to 5 gap to 80 if I wanna be fully farmed <_<

Problem is, if I get to 80 with an 0 gap, I'll probably be too lazy to farm at that level, since I'll be busy making money, pimping some equip and jobbing
1% an hour maybe is low for you, but if you think about, when you go all the way with a gap, you're used to extremely slow lvl'ing, meaning you won't get bored as fast as other people who just got fast to a high level and then start farming. All you need is determination

My Lv30 char is 9 gapping up to 60, 600k+ sp by the time it's done.

You know what that means? Yep, 0 gap to 80.

Boring, but well worth it in the end if you ask me. Good luck to you n00bzZ

the only thing why I would NOT recommend it is because is not that effective as any other farming methods
eg. you are level 63 and going for 64 that would be very ineffective to grind to 64 with 9 gap with some 60+5-7 weapon
and image you are 64 you have 9 gap and you have a brand new (well lets say SOx) weapon, it will be so effective cuz your are dealing more dmg then at 63.

actually I'm gonna farm at 64, but I wont play till 64 with 9 gap just because I had only 52+4 spear, 56+3 spear and now I have 60+4 sword
I'm rising one mastery till 63 and at 64 I'll delevel it to 55

so your idea its maybe possible if you have SUN+5 weapon of every degree, and what you need MORE is GOOD SPOT thats the most important factor

All I can say Ongs > All other farming!

2mil SP? Don't really think I'll need it, but still gonna try something no one ever done.
Anyway, it's loo late for ongs now. This char is 3x since last years Christmas

I would never consider 9 gapping over such a significant level range. At the moment I'm already getting sick of leveling my cleric to 70 maintaining her masteries at 60. If I manage to get to 70, I'll have 175k sp, from where I can 0 gap to 80 for a total of 245k sp. Enough to max all my cleric skills to 80 and get bard to 80 for the moving speed and noise.

03 gap ftw skill up like 22-3 masteries and like 4-7 skillz per lvl

Well I've reached my first goal for now:





Anyway, thought about it again, and I don't really think I'll still be playing SRO that long (maybe till 90 cap max), so no point going with this huge cap till 80. Guess I'll keep it to 42 and then go for 3-5 gap.
I guess I won't be the first to do accomplish such a crazy idea, maybe someone someday will be patient enough to do it.
