Pretty sad excuse for a professional company running an international game.

I'd say the log-in screen is still broke. I've never seen a log-in screen in ANY application that forces you to disconnect and close the client, via an error message, when you can't log in. If the server is full, just tell us and let us try logging in again.

Maybe force-close after 3-5 failed login attempts, but it shouldn't do that when I put in the right credentials and correct image code.

Actually, from what I understand, if your language is Korean, it will actually label full servers as "Full" instead of crowded. They should do that for iSRO in English too.

It'll be broken until those are fixed.

that can be arranged with a simple pk2 editing O.o theres even an autoit script that does it for you if an update resets the media.pk2
its really useful xD i use a serverlist though so its kinda useless...just for the hell of having it...
ps. rev6 sucks >.>

First of all, this is an international game so there is no excuse for not having english developers. Joymax should also have a Quality Assurance team that makes sure there are no issues before releasing each patch.

Yes it's a simple pk2 edit, but the log-on screen is still broken either way. It should work the same for English speakers as it does for Korean.

The part that's more annoying and what really makes it broken is the forced client close (aka "disconnect from server") if you attempt to log on and fail.

you must not have played this game long. What you have described is exactly how it used to be . It used to give you several failed attempts, hit you with the confirmation image to make you THINK you were getting in, then BAM DC and close the program. Believe me, everyone hated that one too.

You must not have been on SRF long. I've been posting here since August 2006 and started SRO a few months before that. :P

I know it used to be that way, then changed, and is now back again. Doesn't mean it's not broke. I think they should fix it. Let you stay at the login screen until you actually can log in. It should only force close when you enter the wrong password too much, like 5 times.

Yeah I have to double click the icon, wait about 5 minutes, and then attempt to log in to a server that has no indication it is full and not just crowded. BAM DC, client close, repeat. :banghead:

English is the universal language (for now) and an english-based game such as international SilkRoad should have at least 1 british or american professional translator, and not some guy who thinks it's funny to pretend to be both (for example, defence/defense).
