Post subject: How you play SRO in the insane lagg ?  Posted: Fri Nov 09, 2007 7:19 am |

I started to play SRO when the lvl 60 cap was there, i was playing SRo with great hope but the lagg was always a great downfall.
Then the encreesing botters came and that was it >_> then i started to motivate me self to play SRO again  I have drop and play for 4 times now
but i stil wonder how people can level to 60+ in the insane lagg  i know i can't...i have started a Rouge recently...and i get more death kils by the lagg then the monster...
i have turned every thing down lol even running the game on 800X600 ?....why isn't SRO fixing the lagg ? or...like Wow make sever that is sepporate lands ? "US Sever ? UK Sever ? Asia Sever ? and so on " i think that would help a bit?
anways...lagg is driving me crazy...

Get a new isp or move to a different country
Server in korea, me in canada atm. (small distance) didn't have lag for years now when out grinding.
There are some lag spikes when a big job war going on with mercs but that is all.
And of course hotan always lags inside except right after inspections

Half decent pc + adsl = no lag for me.
Only place i really lag is on hotan, but a simply holding down of v fixes that.
And if you are a 60 cap player, why are you complaining of lag?
I 1st started sro back in the days of the 60 cap as well. I started in feb of 2006, back when there wasn't any server caps. I would lag for 10 seconds after each kill, it was terrible. Compared to back then, sro is great now.

Yeah you must have Dail-up or something...
I have 1.5g or RAM and have broadband internet and i have some lagg but it runs well most of the time

I always lag on the same time each day, and its likely isp related. So I just do other things that time of the day if I'm logged in. Alchemizing equips, buy and sell, stall, chat etc.

i have 1gb ram and 2mb broadband but stil llag during peak times, but there is one solution that will sort everything out as JM has implemented this a while ago, i call it, make it a nightmare for those who dont have premiums and give those who waste 200 silk on premium a faster connection with no lag. Something along them lines

I only lag at certain places ie: Hotan(even with v held down) and south gate DW when I am trying to pvp ><
