I went with the situation as you, only difference is mine's Dell :D

I picked AMD because my homie said it's for gamers.

I just compared both laptops' video cards.

I'd still pick the AMD, but it's still up to you.

EDIT: Mobile Intel vs. ATI, a lol situation :)

price?
Although I use Intel, The amdX2 process I used before is still very fast. The ones you posted, I would go with amd because of higher ghz.
edit: also
"Graphics Controller:Mobile Intel® GMA X3100 with up to 358MB of shared video"
I used a laptop with Intel graphics before. It is possibly the worst graphics ever. Sro killed my laptop 3 times.

Well if you're planning to play SRO and BF2 you might as well get celeron 2ghz :D Well Core 2 Duo is slightly better (i repeat slightly) But i don;t think you'll feel that. And the CPU is not the most important for a gaming pc.
Oh btw,

WTH dude? Don't do that! Vista is horrible. It will eat your pc resourses and do nothing good! Just get xp :!:

EDIT: Go for the amd one. That one with intel has got pretty sucky graphics card

AMD heats up real easily. Price wise, they aren't the same, are they?

I liked the way you stated the billions of bytes. Lol!

Pay a little more and get a notebook with Ati Radeon 2600 HD or nVidia 8600 GT (Recommended) !

Cuz with the resolution of 1440x900 2400 HD and lol X3100 ! They suck at this resolution !
