After hitting level 30, there's a drastic drop in the quality of Euro parties. Most level 3X tankers don't use lures and are busy trying to kill the mob themselves. The wizards think they are all that, use life control, and use AOE moves incessantly and aggro tons of unwanted mobs (which cause the wizards to die in 1 hit). Rogues try to tank with DD or XX. Nobody cares about protecting the clerics. It's an utter mess.

Sometimes I have no choice but to solo. However, if I wanted to solo, I would've made a Chinese character.

Besides botting or being powerleveled, do Euro characters level up fast in the future?

ya it does get worst as you go up but after lvl 40 its should get better on solo parties.

I am a warlock/cleric, I basically have to approach warriors and rogues by first buffing them then ask for party. I do more of a heal job then being a debuffer.

I notice this happen especially for mid lvl 30s. making good parties are hard, because there is always that dump person who don't understand the word AGGRO CONTROL!

lol

Most chars get powerleveled up to 40 so 40+ is really hard finding a party for euro. Either solo and die a ton or get powerleveled to 40. I think at 40 you can at least start soloing, you will have good enough skills and buffs.

Its absolutely not impossible, I have a lvl 53 Wizard on xian that I didnt powerlvl once. Its incredible fast aswell since you can one hit red mobs if you got half good gear.

And bots wont rly bother you, bcuz wizards skills are faster then the nukers skills. So you will get the kills.

I have also managed to get a rouge to lvl 52 on Mars server, but there I always had parties :)

So yeah, not every european player gets powerlvld, I didnt :)

:/ euros lvl as fast as chinese... all the builds are stronger lol
even bard attacks are as strong as chinese nukes (and they are weakest in attack...)

if it is about dying, i die less on euro than i do on chinese at higher lvls

get bard and you are protected from normal monsters, get cleric and you always have auto pot on

no idea why people say chinese are solo chars... euros solo just as good

Actually, I had a couple of good Euro parties this weekend. As bard/cleric I simply take charge of what happens, tell people their role in the party, and if they screw up I let them die. If they continue to screw up, I kick them from the party, and the others that do work together usually agree.

That sounds exactly like what I do! Even when I'm not the party leader. XD

If you can't power level yourself or have friends to do it for you, that or can't pay for power level, it'd be quite tough...

1~40 would be ok... But after that soloing gets quite hard and tidious, even though a euro can go with 0 gap all the way with GT and ST. More parties at higher level tho, the generals are is always packed... Got my 73~80 there easy, both with random chinese parties and with my euro guild parties...

With rogues/wizards and warriors there is no problem going solo. About rest I dont know anything. Fact is, crossbow rogues and wizards can level on red mobs, or oranges easy. Mostly wizards will train on highest monster they can 1 hit, at least I assume thats the fastest way. Rogues with crossbow extreme on can train on lot higher mobs which they can 2 shot(with 2 skills they got lol).
Its actually pretty hard to train till lvl 40 or so cause at euro side there is unbelievable spawn of champs and giants, which make life harder and always appears right next to me while I charge to another mob. Starting since Hotan, there you barely meet giants or champs(though champions are not problem, giants are).
With warriors its pretty easy on your level mobs, I was killing penons being few levels below them, and could kill giants too, only need to use iron skin in right time to be absolutely safe

that's why new servers are the best. XP parties only get better as we level up.

we're now partying at karras xD.
that's how we do it on Saturn !!

But soloing isn't horrible as an int, or 2hand. incredibly slow compared to parties but not horrid, that's how i would level up if there were no parties. If anything I'd be a cleric or a find a cleric friend, parties just kind of swarm around them.

:/ i have 9 gap and am fighting monsters 10 lvls over me... i'm a 5x xbow rogue/bard...

not too hard to powerlvl self if you have a wolf... make him tank for you, you just shoot, and if monster turns to you, cast discord wave and he goes back to wolf

Soloing isnt all that bad. I am level 42 on olympus and havent been power leveled once. I try to help wizards as much as i can because i got some nice buffs.

But seriously euro isnt that hard.... even the delay on pots isnt that bad. JUst use vigors when your in a bit of trouble

thats my opinion

Yeah, you're right. Clerics are pt magnets. I'm currently taking cleric subclass out of pure necessity of finding parties because warlocks generally don't have a high demand. Subbing for cleric drains a lot of SP though. I'm forced to have a 2-gap mastery level.

Funny thing is, as soon as I leveled up my cleric skills to 25, Venus suddenly started having a shortage of wizards. Now my friends and guildies usually tell me to go warlock (instead of cleric) in pts so that my character could deal high damage for them. I can't decide if I should de-level cleric skills or not. :?

I suggest doing both. That way you could play both roles, dependent on what the party needs. It'd require a fair amount of farming, but it would probably be well worth it.

I take it 1 day at a time, being able to 2hit a mob my lvl or 1-2 lvls above is also pretty helpful as well being an str based character. About to hit 49 soon. I'd be over 64 now if it weren't for school and part time job. ^^
