Start button doesn't appear?!

When I start sro the start button doesn't appear..
any1 knows why? xD

keep closing and reopening sro and maybe try turning off ur fire wall and what not.

Just do exit->open exit-> open when it showes up

It took me about 15 times of restarting last night before it would do anything useful for me. I had the same issue: no message, no start button whatsoever. Then 15 restart times all of a sudden it popped up again. I had no issues this morning though.

sometimes visit the SRO homepage and refresh the page until it loads, generally if i dont have a start button it means the homepage wont load either. im at a loss as to why this happens, also check to see if your're using the correct host ip's.

Happend to me every time after I rebooted my comp and wanted to run SRO. No idea why it's happening though.

im getting this problem too. sometimes even the site won't load on the first try. its quite annoying.

usually that means you have some junk or something in your folders or something...just clear all internet files and folders and see if that does anything.

Restart your router perhaps?

check you are using the correct (or any) host ips:

C: > windows > system32 > drivers > etc > hosts

you should find some text and your host ip's for the joymax servers (if you use them) make sure the '#' symbol is inserted before the ip's. if you cant locate the ip'd you should be using, i will try and remember to come back on the forums when im home and post the ip's ive been using.

w/e he said when it happen to me i reinstall the game lol reopen 15 tmies seems a lot easier

tried clearing your DNS? go to run and type in:

Code:

ipconfig /flushdns

press enter.

Darn, beat me to it. Yep, this is what I usually do to fix it the lack of start button. I just visit the website and it'll say something like "can't be found" and then refresh it so it works. Then I run the launcher again, voila~
