Hi everyone,

I made a pure str warrior/warlock (1h), and I was thinking what I should wear, cuz I can wear all 3 armour types. I wore robes and heavy armour and they both had their advantages. What would you advise me to wear?

Thx in advance,

~Rac00n~

Katzbalger
Demon Skin
Blaze Robes

It just doesn't get sexier.

Wear robe. With Iron Skin and Mana Skin it doesn't really matter what you wear anymore. Robe is better because you walk faster and you save on potions.

You can when a any nuke on you is the difference between surviving or not to the next potion, and Pure str opponents dont do enough without crits on you anyway.

Lol as a pure str warrior a euro nuker IS going to one shot you without mana skin and a Chinese nuker IS going ice chain u to death...might as well wear armor and be prepared for the str characters.

Not ever have I been 1 shotted by anything, not even a wizard with a +7 using Life Turnover, no Chinese has come close to 1 shotting me... I dont know where your getting this from, but if your gonna wear Light armor or Heavey armor, thats when you'll get 1 shotted, and lack the versatility of being able to tank both builds.

Chinese don't have to 1 shot you. You can't kill them when your spending all your time pilling off ice effects. You'd have to be able to 1 shot them or possibly 2 shot but once your both 80 your skills just don't do enough damage anymore. As for a euro-nuker for you to say you've NEVER been one shotted by one is clearly a lie. Take the magic defense and compare it to the magical damage of a wizard and you will find yourself dissappointed.

i have to go with v here, i have a wizzard and i can't 1 hit the warriors i have to 2 hit them, i can 1 hit with life controll, but i'd rather be able to survive a hit myself, and those i caught by surprise i've fought ones with their buffs on, and it took quite a few shots and they still kepted going, ok 4 shots on them before they killed me with their rushing move and turning rise

Well, I decided to go for robes. They look quite nice on higher degrees, and have their benefits, especially against the numerous wizards roaming around...
Pity the first few male robes look like bad space-cowboy costumes ~_~

Thx for the advise,

V is right here. full str warrior + move which increases hp = surviving 1 hit without any problems. Not to mention the fact that you do have mana skin + stun + sleep to survive a few hits in all honesty.

Go for robes if not for the moving speed, then the mp consumption. Warlock skills are going to drain your mp a lot without a decent bard to help you out.

I am full str and I sub cleric, and I can pretty much survive forever wearing robe against wizards, even with life control.

I doubt it. A wizard who 2 hits you in armor probably 2 hits you robes too.

I think by "sub cleric" he refers to using mana skin + the hp increase move + bless. With that he probably could in all honesty.. well until the 45 seconds run out.

Using the cleric, right? I can't see you surviving more than 2 hits (not potting) from a wizard even wearing robes if you are not using vital increase.

Robes make a world of difference for both chinese and euro when dealing with magic attacks.

Robes are far superior to heavy or light armor.

er im quite sure robes dont have the mp reduction bonus of chinese garms, move speed maybe but also when euro came out it was mentioned, they didnt have the same bonuses. I tested it on my warlock and skills used the amount of mp stated in the skill, it wasnt reduced. Also thats why some classes have their own mp cost reduction passives. On Topic sure why not wear garms like every other pure str lol. Cover you weakness.
Lol joymax attempted to make people stick to what their class should wear with euro (armor for str, garms for nukers), but we sure tricked them subclasses FTW.

Yeah dude, we really got Joymax there with those subclasses. :P

Anyways, I went robe, and I seem to like it. The physical damage difference isn't that noticable, but the magical damage sure is (300 to 100)

Thx for all comments,

~Rac00n~
