making pet masks

I don't know if anyone tried this , probably so, but I was wondering if this is a way to get pet masks, other than through the event.

get a rogue and someone with a pet in opposing job suits, let the rogue target the pet and kill it and make the mask that way, does that work?

It will probably just get you murder state.

The pet is not seen as a mob but as a 'player'.

Edit: oh in a job suit. Well it wont get you murder state then, but it still isn't seen as a mob and thus the skill will probably not work.

Might come out as a mangyang same thing with trying to make a Thief mask, tried to make one but came out mangyang...

you can get them from theif mobs that're spawned by traders

i have had a rogue i did a trade and i did that, the name of the mob on the mask said thief but u turn into a mangyang... :banghead:

well then i'm not sure but i'm 100% certain there is a way to get thief masks . I got murder status by attacking someone wearing a thief mask ( not knowing he's wearing a mask) as a hunter and got murder status .

he probably duplicated a thief

no duplicate doesn't work on someone during a job. Even if they're wearing costume it just copies the look of their armor.

ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO MAKE THIEF MASKS!!!
either ur just an idiot and likes to kill people or it was a rogue using duplicate skill -.-

thief masks = a super mangyang, i have sone in my stash, when you have a rogue with mask and a trader, after u kill a npc thief you mask it, ya just makes you a mangyang. but like superfast

I tried it today with my rogue and my chinese alt as a thief . But duplicate didn't work. Tried it with both cape on and off , also in and out of safezone but just kept saying ' cannot be used when you or the opponent is under job or free battle status ' ..... would be appreciated if someone can share and let us know how it works.... or maybe it was removed in one of the previous updates?

it doesnt work anymore.
it was a glitch before, and you could get people murdered if they attacked you and killed you.

Im 100% that u can make thief masks, from the NPC thiefs spawned by traders, I did it couple of times. But that was 3 months ago, maybe something changed.

i did the same thing i got masks yea and the name said thief on the mask but when i used it i turned into a mangyang and i had my rogue b4 you atleast more then 3 months ago...
