yesterday was a bad sro day..., well yeasterday i decided i need to try some alchemy, i had a shield wth nice blues +3, felt i should go for +5, so i got it to +4 easy, and well im not a silk buyer so i had no astrals, went to +5, FAIL. so im thinking okok, ill try again, so i get it to +3 no problem ,and went to +4 and relized it was a success, so im thinking ok, ill go for +5. FAIL, and the item was destroyed.. my sro life with alchemy has SUCKED!, never gottin past +4, but atleast i was able to get my hands on my new sos sword

You're lying* The possibility of breaking from 4->5 is slim, sucks to hear that =\ Then again, better than breaking from 5->6 right?

Sorry to hear that about your shield Going from +4->+5 it is EXTREMELY rare for it to break, however once above +4, it is entirely possible to break. I tried to make tons of things +5 without immortal and astral, luckily none have broken, and lets hope i dont break my euro shield and sword when making them +5

you can brake items for +0->+1 but the chances are slim, you have about 0,001% chance to brake the item. the only reason people think it only breaks from +5->+6 it because the slim chances for it to brake before that point.

Nothing is impossible with JM. Even +0->+1 with lucky powder could fail

Don't feel bad, everytime you break something just think about the people who have broken 8d sun items. Works for me everytime.
