You talk to the trader association leaders, and make an alias, then you can simply buy horses and pots in the stables and then mount them go to the speacil good traders buy them and head out of town to another town, then sell the goods at the special good traders of that town.

Thieves got their own little village where they go to sell their stole goods, nothing special about it.

Being a trader is easy.

Here is what you should do:

1. Buy a trader suit
2. Go to the Trader Npc and make a new alias
3. Equip Your trader flag
4. Now go to the Stable and click on the subheading Transports.
5. Buy a camel or horse, whichever you want.
6. Now Find the Speciality Merchant.
7. Buy the goods from him.
8. If you dont want to get attacked by player thieves, make sure you only buy 1* worth of goods.
9. Now travel with your transport to any other town and sell your goods at speciality merchant there.

And thats basically what to do as a merchant. I didnt go into too much detail since its pretty straight forward. But if you have any more questions ask here, or ask your guild members.

Hope it helped.

Welcome to the League of Merchants!
It appears you have joined the merchant guild and have several questions, such an inquisitive young lad.
my job will be to answer those questions to the best of my ability
    1. Where can i buy camels?
camels are bought from the stable in town. the stable can be found to the right of the merchant guild in Constantinople, behind the merchant guild in Samarkand, to the back right of the merchant guild in hotan, to the left of the merchant guild in Downhang, and behind the merchant guild past the fountain in Jangan.
    2. Is there a hometown for thieves?
Yes there is a hometown for thieves, that town can be access through a thief return scroll or by talking to either Demetre in Constantinople or one the geishas behind the stable in jangan.
    3. Are there scrolls?
There are no scrolls for traders, but there are thief scrolls which can be bought in the thief hometown along with thief suits.
    4. How do i start a mission?
You start trader missions (runs) by equipping your trader backpack*(European) or flag*(Chinese) then after buying your camel*(horse or item mall transport) and camel*(horse or item mall transport) potions you talk to the special goods saleswo(man) adjacent to the Merchant Guild associate
    5. Where do i go?
You go to the next town on the map:
        Constantinople <~> Samarkand (mobs encountered lvl 1 - 3x)
        Jangan <~> Downhwang (mobs encountered lvl 1 - 2x)
        Samarkand <~> Hotan(mobs encountered lvl 3x - 6x)
        Donwhwang <~> Hotan(mobs encountered lvl 2x - 4x)

i hope you enjoy your journey on the silkroad

Yep If you start in jangan and go to donwhang, then i believe your selling price is increased by 300%, and from jangan to hotan it becomes 600%, so on.
So the farther you go the more money you make, however more chances something could go wrong.

You make more money stopping in between towns, making repairs and re-potting. The harder the run E.G. player thieves, distance, type of goods, and star lvl increase the experience your hunters gain.
