Lag spikes before and in CTF

Does anyone notice any lag spikes moving or attacking just a delay. I checked my connection rock solid on websites and downloads. < First thing to eliminate..... Let me know other then that the event wasn't the best as i kept spawning and seeing myself dead because of the lag.... I did get screenshots!

Yes, lots and lots of lag spikes. It was even worse in the event cave.
But I guess it's always been like this when JM makes events.

my comp auto defrags when needed. Usually the end of every week.

I had only 1 lagspike in the entire CTF this time..

I wish the arena was like where you actualy had to have some competiton.. and prevent spawn attacking

The lag has seemed to deminished to almost none since most everyone has the patch. Everyone said it was because of people downloading the update. It's been gone for a little while now but this morning early it was horrible. Great event played almost every single one continuing to do it.
