So, what you guys think will happen on 120 cap? Will the max for chinese still be 300? :?

Eventually we'll get to lv150, am I right? So that's only 2 trees at all for chinese characters, like euros. Would chinese be better then to fight euros by then (since we get loads of new skills), or will still get owned? :banghead:


And about Force Mastery? Who the hell would take Force when only 2 trees are availble? Some crazy full Int Ice+Force? :P

I remember reading somewhere that chinese chars are ment to have only 2 trees. Dont start the you will suck part. SRO is a game made for teamwork..

yes it was post quite a while back on SRO.net by MD that the mastery will stay 300 and the end lvl is planned for 150 meaning 2 trees.

That's why euros are way better now, I think. Chinese, as they gain new skills with time, will increasingly get better and better.

So, on one hand, euros are very powerful now, but on the other hand, they already got all skills, it'll get a bit boring playing with them later, without nothing to look forward to get but very few skills, while chinese will keep getting new ones, until the game it's balanced again. =D


I want to bet anyone that I'll be the only one with Cold mastery at lv150 cap. People will see the last book of Ice Wall and Snow Shield and go "wtf, what is that thing?" xD

this is where JM really farked over the chinese race. at 150 cap for a nuker, a wiz will have 150 wiz maery and 150 sub masery. Within this wiz mastery are 4 nuke trees, light, cold, earth, fire, each of which are near equivilant to 1 chinese mastery(except for earth). So for a ero wiz it will have 4 high lvl powerful nukes. However at 150cap a chinese nuker, at most, will have 2 masteries of nukes, light and fire for most damage, and still its cut short of the euors number of nukes and still doesnt have the extra mastery for def or shit(like bard for noise and all its goods buffs)

serioulsy i dont even know how joymax didnt see this huge **** up before they released euro. sooner or later you'll have to go to euro, but im staying chinese as long as i can

your all forgetting also there is a third race coming the Islam race..and that might come for KSRO next before a next level cap..so who knows how the balance will go then. I think that KSRO will get it maybe this summer with the lvl 110 area being a grey color..and that area with the cap to come for them next year...Im hoping this means well get our 90 cap this summer, and islam maybe christmas..but who knows

either way chinese are pretty tough and with all their new skills i think the ever reducing amount of masteries they can have will balanace things out, either that or completely rape the chinese of any value

even with lvl 90 im confused dont know what to drop :/
chinese are loosing all their appeal as lvl cap rises
whole point with china chars is to make your own build unique(atleast try to) . with only 2 masterys its as booring as euro.
good thing is that by the time all this is implemetned ill probably get boored of SRO anyways :p

impotent status vital spot gives you better defense than chinese fire protection and guards of ice 8)

but force gives no imbue wtffffffffffffffffff
what shall i do, maybe its time to re-roll lol.
Or gimme poison imbue or something.

it's been here since the start or SRO, the mastery limit will NOT change, theirs no since hoping it will

All nukers at 100+ caps will have to drop weapon masteries anyways, at 150 cap most nukers will be Ice+light, that's why i'm building a pure str bow, nukers will be just too dull. But that has its good sides, no more brainless bots fighting with their nukers like a bunch of glaviers.

What I'm hoping for is:

Euro > Chinese
Chinese > Islam
Islam > Euro

Take the classic example of a warrior, archer, and a mage. In almost every game I've played, a warrior beats an archer, an archer beats a mage, and a mage beats a warrior. Each possess a strength that beats one class, but has a weakness that can be exploited by another class.

The best non-gaming analogy I can come up with is rock paper scissors. Let's substitute this into your response to see if it makes sense:

"How can paper be stronger than rock and rock be stronger than scissors but scissors is stronger than paper that makes no sense."

Really? Makes sense to me, and by the looks of it, others as well. :)

You got your math wrong there. If Islam > Euro, and Euro > Chinese, then Islam > Euro > Chinese. What you should have said was:

Euro = Heavy Party
Chinese = Heavy Solo
Islam = Balance

BTW this game is a party game, there is no more room for the lone wolf. You can't do trades on your own, and job wars aren't going to be the BS you see in front of gates anymore. Its going to be Party A, B, and C VS Party D, E, and F. Our latest example was fortress war; joymax wasn't being stupid when they planned this game.

They planned 3 races
a 140/150 cap
2 skill masteries
several endgame areas
All revolving around the Trade System and Fortress War. Hopefully sro players will 'evolve' instead of 'decay' >.>, because if they don't then everything i said is 'poof': "a myth"

EDIT: i see what you did there, like Runescape :P , sry to burst your bubble, but this isn't runescape: looke at DaRealist Ksro vids. Barely any 1v1 and the only 1v1 looks like shyt :P .

Sro's future is Party VS Party.

This is where the teamwork comes in!

For example; We have 2 euro's.
A cleric, and a warrior.
The cleric can buff the warrior and attack, while the warrior is taking all the damage.

Same for Chinese, although nobody will choose Force..
