It seems that since the bot ban it has become even HARDER to get on the servers. Maybe gold companies are handling more bots in order to regain the gold they lost, or the player bots know that the ban is over and they're all rushing back onto the servers.... but most people have forgotten the bot ban even took place. I don't that there's ever going to be a reasonable solution to all the bots that Joymax will agree on - I've also noticed the amount of premium members on the servers has increased so Joymax won't really be worrying about their money troubles for a while.

Is it just me?

It is true they ban bots right before each premium was released. Gold bots come back with more bots to compesate what they lost from the ban causing more server traffic and harder for you to get in.

So Joymax probably knew in advance that the bot ban would only encourage more bots to keep playing and thus, making more people resort to premium. It's a corrupt game =)

All goldbots arent related to a gold company. Most of the goldbots out there belong to actual players who bot with multiclient..

Hmm I wouldn't say so. When you consider how many gold companies there are and just how much gold they have... and also considering that one of there servers could support about 50 multiclients...

I wouldn't say it's had a positive effect at all, I've not been able to log into Odin the past few days without trying about 100 times. And no, I don't use a multiclient - so it makes it so much longer. Most of the people who say 'you can log in if you just try it over and over for about 10 minutes' are usually the ones who use multiclients, because in 10 minutes I've only managed to load up Silkroad twice!

Woah dude, upgrade your RAM or something. I used to have 500mb or something and it took 5 mins to load the client. Now 2gb of RAM loads it up in less than 1 depending on how many other things are running on my computer.

Ok I exaggerated =P I have 1gb Ram and it takes about 1 minute to load... but when you've logged in about 100 times it gets repetitive and it feels like it takes hours!

Yeah it does, that's why I usually leave my character on stalling or something to try and avoid login :\

Good luck lol.

I'm not the only one who uses this computer and the next person who uses it always shuts down the game - and I'm sure that's the case for most people on this forum. Not even that, you usually get disconnected on server inspections.

Yeah, I find it harder to log on ever since bot ban, but the first days, the period when it was possible to log in, was wider than before the update. Now, it's almost the same (at least in Odin).

disagree with wha tyou all say, on Mars i get on easily with both accounts around the evening in eastern time. Server stays populated until 3 or 4 am or so.

Well maybe Odin is the exception, but I've decided to take a break until it clears up a bit (if it ever does) because it takes ages to get on. Or I could start all over again on Mars, which will probably become just as bad in a few months. The reason I came to Odin 2 months ago was it always seemed to have spaces left, now it's worse than most servers!

Still, Odin rocks =) Parties are easy to find, many legit guilds, not full of SOSUN, etc

Perhaps it's time for me to move to a different server then - Odin is a nightmare.

Well, wasn't a goldbot ban yet on Hera but anyway ...

I'd say there wasn't a big goldbot problem some weeks ago imo... they usually d/c'ed after a few min for some reason and training spots stood empty but now I noticed that those "fffggghhh" goldbots all have Premium et voilà it's pure nightmare to login without premium (not that it already wasn't a nightmare before...) and the training places get more and more crowded with them ... any other server having goldbots with Premium too?

I'm wondering if JM will ban them one day since they could now appear as "good intentioned players" aka silkbuyers?

If actual player with multi client used em i dont think they would be able to that much because they would need a really good comp. And if they have a super good comp, they are more than likely playing wow or something that has much better Customer service.

nah, my friend runs 3 clients at once. A month or so of doing it fried his hard drive though, so he got what he deserved.
