I noticed a strange behaviour of item auto parties.

Expected: item auto distrubes items in order(one by one) beginning with first char in the party. So that everyone in the party gets something.

Found: It tends to forget the order after e few minutes and starts over. It is very annoying if you are one of the last party members.

For example, your party killed a giant party, items are picked (mostly items are picked first ofcourse), so you get no items but garbage. You think thats fine. Because, it is your turn. But, what happens, it starts over, you get nothing but garbage again:shock:

Anybody noticed that? Or am I mistaken?

I always thought it was random, as I have been the last person in a party before and still gotten plenty of drops.

Completely random... Someone in my party just got 4 drops while the rest of us got none

It's totally random, only gold is shared equall.Alchemy, gear, weapons are randomly given (quests items and purification seeds are ofcoruse given to the owner, EXCEPT if he dc , free seeds ftw)

if a person dc's you can steal their seeds/fruits !? llolol

In item auto share, first item goes to first person, 2nd to 2nd, 3rd to 3rd etc.

But since most of JM's inventions are bugged, this might be bugged too. I haven't noticed this yet

nope, its completely random, next time when you are at a 8man, drop arrows 4 times, and you will see it doesnt go by order

it usually works fine for me... from time to time it glitches up... but usually it will go in order..

money drops count too, so it moves down the list when a pile of gold is picked up too..

if the gold cannot be divided equally among the party members, the extra 1 gold is distributed to whoever its turn to get the 'drop' =D

but i guess if the remainder of gold is higher than 1, it just gives everyone else after him an extra piece of gold until the remainder is used up

Everything counts as a drop, gold, items, elixirs, arrows, bolts, etc...

Gold is divided among all the players. Other ones go random / in order, still gotta try but can't connect

gold doesnt go evenly...

drop lots of 1 gold not everyone will get 1 gold lol or people would be duplicating gold

I dont know but it just isnt on Items the rotation still works on the alchemy items and all that sh!t

Obviously any amount under 8 gold in an 8 man pt cant be shared equally between all members, thats the exception.

I hated it at lower lvls cause I rarely got anything of worth.

you can get someone else purificaton fruit even if you dont have a ticket

What I do in parties to **** everyone up ^^

Rush to the alchemy trash wich goes to the first people then pick the rest wich usualy i get a good part of

As far as I know, It is not random but in order.
For this very reason, I kick out clevers (!) all the time benefiting this rule. They pick garbage until their turn then pick the item

Random in a game isn't random at all. To imitate random, they make a calculation complicated; the more random it seems, the more complicated the equation.
