8 man party question

suppose theres 8 ppl in the party, all level 80
theres one wizzard and one blader they are in the same party, they are both level 80
they are fighting a lvl 80 generals

the wizzard does 9k dmg to a normal mob
the blade does 3k dmg to the same normal mob
the mob dies
would they get the same exp/sp?

the wizzard does 50k dmg to a party mob
the blade does 15k dmg to the same party mob
the party mob dies
would they get the same exp/sp?

the wizzard does 500k dmg to a party giant
the blade does 150k dmg to the same party giant
the party giant dies
would they get the same exp/sp?

Amount of exp/sp exp received depends on lvl gap between party members and mob lvl, nothing else

Assuming they're the same level and same gap, they should get the same exp

no matter the damage people will get the same XP/SP
otherwise.. there wouldn't be any clerics

The other guys covered it but the easiest answer is that they both get the same amount of exp regardless of how much damage they do to the mob. They will still get just as much as anyone else (depending on level, gap or tickets) even if they do NO damage at all.

No matter how much damage one does, the xp and sp is distributed evenly.

lol so true, when i first started I didn't get what the difference between sharing and distributing exp was... I'm happy Joymax is loving their online translator more than they do us and i can see how some people might miss that.

and damage dealt has nothing to do with exp/sp gained in a 8/8 party otherwise I'd have to retire my tanker.
