Some people think alot of stuff about the end of the game, here are a few facts:

The mastery limit of X/300 for Chinese will stay the same throughout the game.
The level cap for the game is going to be 140~, not 150. This was stated by a GM once, as well as only information up to level 140 being available in the PK2 files. This isn't because this is all they have prepared so far, this information has been there since the beginning of the game and is in the pk2 files of version 1.000 of iSRO, and the latest version of kSRO.

That's it for now.
I believe I am right, but unless you have something that actually does indeed PROVE that 150 is the final level cap (like information about level 150 characters, not monsters, in pk2 files) then you can post that.

Too lazy to delete it all, but the first number is the level, the second number is the xp needed to get to the next level.

Taken out of the pk2 files, I didn't SS it, and I don't have pk2 equipment on this computer, you can look it up yourself though if you want.

ask cruor, I dunno. I just know what the first two numbers mean.

BTW, originally there are numbers for the first few levels as well, I was just gonna delete all the extra stuff but I got lazy.

This is for a topic where someone asked how much xp you need to reach the next level.

That doesn't prove 140 is the cap. It hints towards it but it isn't definitive proof. Thats like me saying that 150 is the cap because in the help screen it states the points are accumulated to max two masteries only:

300/2=150, so 150 each mastery therefore 150 cap. Another matter, what is your source? That isn't taken directly from the pk2, the pk2 files stop at 120 not 140. Don't take second hand information and decide to throw it around as fact without doing your own research. Also, when Isro first came out the information stopped at 90, therefore based on version 1.000 the final cap is 90 but based on Ksro's pk2 the final cap is 120. Do you have proof a GM stated that? Were you there? Are you just repeating what you have read without taking the time to come to your own conclusion?

The Final Cap, until information proving otherwise appears, remains 150. So based on the pk2 back in 60 cap I can come to the conclusion that the final cap is 90 but similarly I can come to the conclusion (based on Ksro's pk2) that the final cap is 120, also, based on the in game help function (Mind you: The only part of the game that has the same information from beginning to now) I can conclude the final cap is 150 and based off rumors of a GM stating the cap is 140 I can conclude the cap is 140 finally based on statements by Morningdew, I can conclude the cap is 150. Who is right? The pk2 doesn't point to the End game, it points as far as Joymax has programmed.

@Raini, as a matter of fact. I'll look it up right now.

The quote I posted in the other thread shows that it will almost certainly be a cap of 150.

That isn't second hand information, extract media.pk2, then look in text information, then level information or something, and it'll say there. I'd do it myself, but I don't have any of those tools (except media.pk2) on my computer.

The last five levels that kSRO currently has in its LevelData.txt:

Code:
136   21327974495   68951   0   0   27065   -1   -1   -1
137   25764141377   80867   0   0   27877   -1   -1   -1
138   30447283657   92783   0   0   28714   -1   -1   -1
139   35388227098   104698   0   0   29575   -1   -1   -1
140   40598223991   116614   0   0   30462   -1   -1   -1

Compare the numbers to what Rainigul posted reproduced here:

Code:
136 16533349313 53451 0 0 27065 -1 -1 -1
137 20756642550 65150 0 0 27877 -1 -1 -1
138 25218453852 76849 0 0 28714 -1 -1 -1
139 29929293182 88548 0 0 29575 -1 -1 -1
140 34900085783 100247 0 0 30462 -1 -1 -1

There are obvious differences between the two. The current one requires 40 billion points to get to 140, while Rainigul's version requires 34 billion.

Now let's take a look at the first five levels and the last five levels until 90 that kSRO currently has:
Code:
1   118   1   0   0   24   70875   70875   70875
2   470   1   0   0   47   2388750   2388750   2388750

88   249746989   3336   0   0   6550   -1   -1   -1
89   265353867   3442   0   0   6746   -1   -1   -1
90   281672373   3547   0   0   6949   -1   -1   -1

Again, let's compare this to what Rainigul posted:
Code:
1 118
2 470
3 1058
4 1880
5 2938
...
86 220558723 3126 0 0 6174 -1 -1 -1
87 234824141 3231 0 0 6359 -1 -1 -1
88 249746989 3336 0 0 6550 -1 -1 -1
89 265353867 3442 0 0 6746 -1 -1 -1
90 281672373 3547 0 0 6949 -1 -1 -1

They are strikingly similar. All the information that Rainigul presented and what kSRO's media.pk2 currently has are exactly the same, but only up to level 90. Beyond that, from 91 to 140, the numbers deviate from one another. Did Rainigul just made up the rest of them? I wouldn't bet my money on that. Instead, the most plausible reasoning is that Joymax changed it. (Duh?)

This simply shows that what we had then, is different than what we have now. And chances are, what we have now might change to what we will have. Barotix laid out this temporal relativism clearly. Back at version 1.000, all the files point to 90. But now, we have it until 140. In this case, the absence of evidence is not an evidence of absence.

How can we know it then? There are currently two ways that I know: find a source in the game that never changed, from 1.000 to present (kSRO). That can indicated solid proof as to what the cap is. Or better yet, take the word on what Joymax explicitly said. If they said 140 cap, it's 140. If they said 150, then it's 150. This is a justified appeal to authority as they themselves are the developers.

So, who has any of these evidences?

140   40598223991   116614   0   0   30462   -1   -1   -1

Compare the numbers to what Rainigul posted reproduced here:

Code:
136 16533349313 53451 0 0 27065 -1 -1 -1
137 20756642550 65150 0 0 27877 -1 -1 -1

140 34900085783 100247 0 0 30462 -1 -1 -1

There are obvious differences between the two. The current one requires 40 billion points to get to 140, while Rainigul's version requires 34 billion.

Now let's take a look at the first five levels and the last five levels until 90 that kSRO currently has:

it may just mean joymax changed it so its a little easier and more tolerable to lvl up in iSRO lol.

It's interesting that there's a SHARP jump in the XP required at 64 and 65. I mean, up until then, every level required 9-10% more XP than the level before it... but not 64 and 65. It's like 30% more each, then it resumes it's previous 9% or so. They probably did that again somewhere in the kSRO file... somewhere between 90-140.

Except they raised the limits, not lowered them.

I don't understand why the keep the mastery at 300, it's going to mess up builds.

I just installed the Legend III client. I checked the leveldata.txt right away and it's the same as Rainiguls. LOL. Maybe Fudge is right.

Lol it's been like that for a long time. It's up to the player to decide how they want to use those 300 points. Joymax changed nothing.

One thing has been the same since 1.000
In the in game help the quote that Uber post has never changed and has always been: "you can max only 2 masteries", but this can mean you can only bring two masteries to the cap but you can't bring any others. It doesn't prove the cap is 150 because at 110 you can only get two masteries maxed to 110 but similarly at 140 you can max two masteries but you still have some left over, you just can't max a third. Same with 150, so which cap is the actual cap? You can't tell, so you're better off not speculating. Just know the cap is 140 or 150 and we'll know eventually.
