I got inspired to write this up after witnessing myself in a guild i have been in around 2 months now and the way they play and treat each other. Now i know this is one of many examples but we had a short discussion about this in our guild chat last night. Im talking about the way players treat each other in game...

The game in silkroad is a real good way to analise what a player is like in real life. So many people are corrupt with mass greed and in consequences everyone is effected economy and equipment wise. I was lucky enough to witness the kind of kindness that is VERY rare and needed more in this game. My guild master is a 2h warrior and hes great hes always helping people out, doing alchemy for them and he never asks for anything back hes just a nice guy and i felt last night he finally got rewarderd for his kindness. Another guildie in the guild had managed to get hold of a sun 2h but he is chinese. So out of his kindness he simply GAVE the 9d sun 2h to our guildmaster in the return of Nothing, he didnt ask for anythign in return is pure kindess. Ive seen this kindness a few times but it is so rare and it makes me think why cant more people be like this? I just wish more people where like this i mean the game would be so much more enjoyable and plesent to play. The thing is it doesnt have to be something like a sosun for this to happen. i have given over 200+ wep elexirs to people and never ask for anything in return just becuase there nice people.

I really enjoy playing this game and making online friends (no im not some sad geek who has no friends -,-) Lots of little things have made this bad in some aspects, for example. Goldbots, yes we know there annoying they KS to hell and fill the server traffic. But unfortunatly its a battle that will never end till the end of Silkroad its self. But that is only one thing, goldbots arent the main cause for why alot of people end up quitting the game, i think peopel blame joymax as they are an easy target and they dont reply to peoples problems in game,. Mainly purely becuase it would be a endless task having to deal with so many people and complaints. But this game could be helped greatly by the platers. Im getting sick of seeing countless globals you see of people cursing each other or scamming other players i just want to know what is the point? This is just a game after all, of course you want to be good at this game but really is there need of the bitchign and scamming?

Anotehr thing this game can do better withotu is the ammount of racism in the game i mean really silkroad is breamign with racist people. I know certain countrys are known for genunley being bad people, just look at what happend to the vets. But really not EVERYONE is a bad person. I know turkish people (Turks) have a bad rep in this game and are commonly known for scamming and being generally annoying, But i know some real nice turkish people. yes there english isnt great but there genunley nice people. I hate when i see someone say "hey man can i party with you guys" and the reply is "NO **** off turk" really that sickens me. This just oen example there are MANY more.

Everytime i see someone is scammed (more comonly known as hacked) i feel sorry for them. Botter or not they have put either money or effort into the game and are proud that that is there character and im almost 99% sure they have had fun with the character. Im not for or against botters myself, im talking about player bots of course, i dont agree with goldbots what so ever they flood the servers and genunley anoy everyone, yes everyoen i know player botters who hate gold bots and wish they where all gone. Many player botters are good friends online to me and for that reason i have nothing wrong with player bots. If they chose not to expierce the joy of party play or grinding than that is there choice i know many players that are only interested in FW and GW which i think is fine, this is a game after all and thats there choice. I dont agree with people who buy all there sosuns for real $ however i think thats stupid but than again its there money so once again there choice, if having a full sosun set makes them happy than thats great for them

To be honest ive got kinda lost in what im trying to say in this post, i always get carried away when i get going, the point of the post is to show that the game should have more friendly and kind people like the person who gave a sosun for free to my Guild Master. It really would make the game more enjoyable for alot of people.

I know many of you will think WTF waste of time of a post but thats your thoughts you didnt have to read it . I was just inspired to write up this sorry its pretty long, please share your views and no flaming i know ive epxressed my views on player bots so i expect some to flame but please restrain and express your views on the things i have talked about Thankyou for your time reading and replying.

In purely idealistic terms, this would be a great way to play the game. Unfortunately, this is not the case, and adjustments need to be made.

I am indescribably loyal to my guild, and I am thankful beyond words. I know they would do anything for me, and I would do the same in return.

I cannot, however, share your sentiments when it comes to botters.



Botters, putting effort forth? Please tell me thats a joke. The only playerwho deserves my respect or remorse is a legit one.

Well, botters don't put much effor in their character.

However, some of them, actually most of them, DO deserve my respect.

I don't judge them by how they play the game. It is their choice.

I judge them by their actions in the game. If they are nice, helpful and fun to be around, I will certainly respect them.

And to be honest, if ALL the bots would be banned now, the game would be soooo boring, botting has become a big part of this game, hate it or love it, we all have to accept it.

I pretty much get anything I want from anyone anyway. Make friends with em then send em an undetected keylogger through msn. Works everytime.

1st time I ever scammed someone I had to snort some lines to help clear my conscience. Now it's easy. Spend $50 for a year access to a keylogger and in that year you get your $50 back tenfold.

Kinda like when I first started playing... on a certain server. Not babel. Someone gave a guildy 4 sos. I got 1, someone sold me a sos lvl 8 cleric rod for 50k, NB dropped our party 3mil gold, multiple people gave me 10+ wep elixirs, someone sold me a 42 sos harp for 1/3 price, someone bought me a 64+5 sos harp for free...I do the same for friends, and even random nubs, it feels great to give random lvl 15's on the polipimos's money/buffs/free shit.

nice to see some interesting replys, i dont support botters and there cause but i agree somewhat thet they are in the game whther we like it or not, as i stated not all botters are bad people its how they chose to play the game, i know im stepping on thin ice here with bot support so will say no more on the subject. Its nice to see other people have recieved such kindness though.

If all botters were banned there would be a max of 1000 players on each server out of the 3500 limit.

2nd. most ppl who bot are just lazy in real life so botting fits their personality. and the many other reasons they bot. not saying i support them or dont support them, but just cuz a player bots u all act like they mass murdered ur whole family, its just a game.

thirdly OT. i like what u wrote. i love seeing kindness in the game it makes it so much enjoyable. the other day i was on my wizard and i died and i actually got ressed by a plvler i was amazed. and then he asked if iw anted to join his plvl for free, i was even more amazed.

and i love it how in my guild/union most ppl sell shit for way cheaper than it goes for to union/guildmates. i do wish everyone in the game was a lot nicer it would make it alot more fun.

I'm going to have to agree with heroo here.

I don't care how they reached the cap, how they farmed, how they played or didn't play, if they themselves are cool people to know, talk to, hang out with, pvp with, then they have my respect as a person. It is just a game.

Well to tell you the truth...
I am a really nice person in game... and out of game.
if someone needs help I do my best to help people. if someone needs money i lend it to them if they need some help leveling i will help them out.
But after some time of helping people and getting nothing in return... Not that I am doing it to get something in return. It gets tiering... You are always helping people and getting nothing in return... Thats not even only in game... I help people a lot in real life to. and get nothing.
ITs like being a slave to yourself because it is hard not to help someone... But after a while when you loose things and get nothing in return it isn't easy.

Just yesterday i accidentally went in murder status with a friends character and I dropped his +5 full blue boots... Some low level turk picked it up. So I figured that was the end... Turks having Less Brain power then my Farking pinky...
Yes there are cool turks... Im sure. But most of them have some sort of brain dysfunction.
The Greedy son of a bitch was telling me to give him 2m for them... That fact that they are worth like 10mil was even worse considering the character had 2k on him.

I agree, I dont care if they boted to cap, really dont care about that. I wont judge people by that, If he is friendly,not scamming b!atch and interesting to talk with, he is good person for me. I dont care about sro so much, i only play cuz of people in my guild and fun with them.
And IC3 you arent only one , I have also meet people in sro that really gona stay my friends, not only cuz they helped me in sro with items or gold when I was hacked by joymax, its because they are good people and very friendly to evryone. Unfortunetly in 3 years of sro I only meet couple guys like them.

90% botters are arrogent and dont care about you. i will ks bots all day but not legits. no matter how much of a tw4t that are i just wont ks them.

botters put no effort in it at all.

what pisses me off is putting 5hrs a day and getting no recognision from anyone of how high of a lvl ive become. in 1 1/2 months lvl 70 with no plvl (a lil but not much) imo that is really good and im impressed with myself!

i hate bots that just wna ks me and get in my way and then say im a noob when they arnt even playing the game.
