I'm talking about the force skill that places a circle on the field that prevents mobs from entering and increases your HP/MP reincarnation ratio while you stand inside of it. What does the new one look like. It will cost me about 10k sp to get but I only want it if it looks different from the previous book.

I haven't seen the third book even since maybe the 70 cap.

Force is a good mastery though. Some of the support skills are better than Euro's I think.

Do you mean the 4th or 5th? The last one I saw was green :O (That was in 90-120 skill vid so nvm)

you cant get it its like purple and it says GM's blessing or somethin i reamember seein a pic of it here

that skill used to be amazing, but they nerfed it a long time ago. it used to make it so stuff wouldnt aggro you even if you attacked it, and the instant you walked in the circle you were safe. it was like a fortress. you put it up and ppl would pull mobs toward it. pwnage with archers too. now its almost useless, only good for sitting around and doing nothing.

i miss the old days of 70 cap and 69 skill cap

They nerfed it even more...it doesn't work on npc thieves anymore, they still agro to you. its really not good for anything except protecting people that are getting powerleveled or the buffers in a share party.

They had to pull off the plug with NPC thieves. Just imagine a European who has a bard sub, with noise on, which has the same effect as therapy circle. Trading difficulty would go down drastically with all the NPC thieves just walking mindlessly.

they coulda just pulled NPC thieves off of it... instead of making it so it doesnt do really anything. the force tree used to be amazing just because of that single skill alone. if they had therapy and the vital spots, and not just the vital spots be good, i think we'd see a lot more force users. i know my brother would go back to it if they did.

although i have to admit that popping that up on npc thieves was pretty fun. especially when npc thieves could attack non-suited players

I used to watch my guildies go to a packed bot area and just sit with therapy circle.

You're right about the therapy circle and the vital spots. By far, those two are the only useful skills in that tree, besides the passive one and maybe the new cure therapy book. That tree needs a major revamp. Even the ress skill is almost useless compared to the extra ten levels that clerics can take.

They need to add an Imbue lol and a better passive. Cause no one realy need more MP Imo

Man they look so similar. I was hoping it would be blue or something. How disappointing. I also wish force had an imbue; I always thought an imbue that gave zombie status would be the best. You could zombie them then heal as an attack LOL. I could picture it now, 35% chance of darkness status and 10% chance of zombie status. They could have also thrown in a skill drains your opponent's mp to heal your hp. All that would have been pretty cool; but joymax is lame.

Can you say snow shield?
IMO force is strong enough as it is now, you just need to know how to use it.

ya i beleive it needs an imbue, because lets face it at 150 cap who is going to have force, i just hope they change it by that time, or if the game even lasts long enough for the final cap to be made, the circle is still usefull for jobbing say you are in an agro area and need to get a transport out to grab loot, it can help, but it needs some form of imbue, but ressing is always helpfull, if you are in a guild war or jobbing and a mate goes down you can have them back up and healed in 4 seconds, which means your team can keep fighting. People just got so caught up with cape fights and don't understand the point of the game any more. Its always been about teamwork, even if you didn't have party buffs

The vital spots reduce more and more defense as you lvl them, who's to say you are even gonna need an imbue with the force tree at final cap?
the thing is that u can pill off everything except the 10 second vitals, and it always resists to cleric's holy spell (or just clerics themselves cuz of their passive) which is why i left the force tree.

maybe so it'd still be annoying to lvl force up to the point the vitals would be as good as an imbue because vitals don't get good till higher lvl as it, assuming they got strong enough to compensate for no imbue

I just thought of this while playing my warrior/cleric. The skill that would completely revive this skill tree is one that deals absolute damage. Even if that's the only attack skill the tree has, it can make a few players think twice whether to add and level the force tree or not.
