act like they are in love with their bot? I just joined an exp share party and the whole party started talking about how much they loved botting and how they were going to turn it on and start botting in the share party O_O. Then they start cussing me out like I was talking shit about their girlfriend for not botting. It seems they are the ones with an addiction not me >_>

They like the bot because it does everything for them and they just sit back and watch. Think of it like watchin porn, it makes u happy just watchin but you occasionally have to use your hands xD

obviously there people that need *Helpers* and bots are the best thing that ever happend to them,

i know this game can be hard, but cmon needing a *Helper* to get your levels for you,

i guess without this *Helper* they could never get the levels by themselves, which i guess is why they love there bots so much

They are botters, Who gives a rat's ass about anything they say do or achieve ?

They still suck in my book. Nothing but spineless little whimps who don't have the skill or dedication to play the game the normal way.

Seriously, if they talk so openly about botting in that shared party you were in. Why not put some things in motion for fun's sake ?

You know their ingame names ?

Anyone who finds this game hard needs help badly. Most find it repetitive. Thats all, i remember when i use to play...turned into a zombie just click, spam buttons and go to another mob. thankgod i quit the game

Back when I had more time, I grinded a good 12~15 hours a day straight througout the summer [70 cap.] All it really takes is some good tunes and a nice fat blunt.

Probably the best bot analogy I've ever heard.

let me summarize this , the botters have a life and need a *helper* so they can do other things like their education. Faintsmile who the hell grinds for 12-15hours i never had that much time to sit dude max i went for is 4hours striaght and thats when i was done 11th grade 2yrs. back

Personally, I think its the ppl who no one really likes that go botter. There are ppl that everyone likes and someone will always respect them and think they are nice to talk to. Those ppl dont have to bot. They get a community and all the support they need no matter what level they are.

Then there are others that are not good at being part of a community. They have personality flaws like being selfish, frightened, overly proud, angry etc. They need to beat down the ppl that are nice and gentle, or who are just good at the game. They cannot win with their own power, their own initiative. They must cheat and they find instant community there with other botters who are also broken ppl like themselves. It's a community they bought with real money in the form of a botcard and it took no effort.

I have met few botters that I thought were nice, trustworthy people. Others may not share my experiences but those of us in Venus have had a recent reminder that most botters are selfish ppl who never change.

@Bold text, and Legits don't? Do you think botters are better than Legits?

If you need a "helper" because you can't focus on your education then you need to stop playing. Simple as that. Botting isn't a sensible option, Botting is the choice an addicted player would make.

Plenty of people play 12-15 hours. I'm sure plenty of botters played 12-15 hours a day before they botted. Then when they became an addict purchased a Bot. You don't have a life if you bot, what you have is an addiction to Silkroad Online and lack of self control.

Its only an addiction if it interferes with your ability to focus on other task or interact with other Human beings. (i.e)Friend: "Lets go watch a movie next week at 8 PM." Response: "No can do, I'll miss my ticket time then have to do double the next day and I have to wake up early for Fort war".

Friend:... :(

This has to be done consistently: Shirking off responsibilities, friends, family, and relationships for your game. Doing it once or twice isn't really something to make a big deal about. Doing it to reach a goal then touching the game once in awhile isn't something to worry about. Doing 15 hours a day every day after you have reached all necessary goals because you have nothing better to do is fine too. As long as SRO doesn't impeded your abilities to socialize or focus on work.

EDIT: and that whole helper thing is bullshit. If you can't play the game with your own hands, be it an hour a day or 15 hours then you need to GTFO.

First of all, people who bot are stupid for one single reason: Silkroad Online is an MMORPG, that means Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing GAME. Ang the goal of a game is that you have fun. Botting is just like... doing nothing. Botting doesn't make you have fun. And the "I dont't have time to play" is NOT AN EXCUSE. If you don't have time, you don't have to play. Simple as that.
