Hi ^^

Bladers have always been my obssesion, but i was stupid enough, ever not to make one.
Now that I have decided to make a new chinese character, it has to be a blader :) and a sexy one indeed.

I like to be different, standing out of the group, so i was thinking about a very uncommon build for my blader, with Force and Fire or something else as the main.

I have read Manowar's guide and couple of other threads, but the discussions seem to be never ending, turning into flames.

What i need here, is detailed description of what I should choose and Why, especially comparisons pros/cons :p , which inturn would be greatly appreciated.

Heres a pic of my newbie:

Expected SP at the end: Not Yet Decided.

If you wanna be original, be a hyb blader and do-- fire(light)\force\blade

I find Hyb Str bladers to not have that extra 500\1k hp, but can do more damage than a pure str. Of course crits would be needed... but not as much as they would on an str blader.

With force, you get to use small opportunites to hasten the debuffs getting on your opponent, and being hyb str once again your dmg will be higher.

Now if you choose fire as ur secondary element mastery, then ur gonna have the extra atk and mag def and a stronger imbue, but you will be lacking in speed... so you might end up buying drugs, or just dealing with 20 light

If you choose light then your getting mag atk which isnt AS needed, your imbue will be a bit weaker, but you will have much more speed and parry ratio.

Decisions decisions...

I'm a hybrid blader myself. So speaking from experience, GET LIGHT :)

No one wants a slow blader. :)

Force bladers are always fun, really. I would try force as well, yet i still believe a cleric euro is more effective than a chinese cleric. Oh well. And good choice on picking a female character. Female Char + 8d Garments + blade/sword/shield = SEXY.

OT:

I'm SP farming 2 noob characters right now too, 1 euro and 1 chinese. (pure int s/s and cleric/wizard)

I really do not have a plan on to how much exactly i will farm, but I will farm for a long time because I have a lvl67 blader to cap still. So while that's happening, I will farm my other characters, thus not becoming bored.

1million SP would deserve a screenshot though, who knows. Right now, my Euro has 35k SP and my Chinese has abuot 53k sp. Took me about a week for to get about 50k. Good luck to you.

Can u suggest a build with force?

Bich/Light/Force? :D

LOL, there's only 1 ratio my friend, 7:1. Anything less than that ratio hurts you more. 5:1, 2:1 = phail.

500k would take about I would say.. 2 - 2 1/2 months, if you farm at least 4 hours a day. So.. with that said, maybe 3-4months since chances are you won't be sitting on the computer 4 hours, every single day.

pros of hybrid:

original, deals more OVERALL damage, use a nuke (check out my hotkey #1) , mana shield = overkill with more MP than a pure str.

cons:

you won't have that extra 1k HP or so, criticals won't be that big of damage, you'll stray away from the

"Bladers are notorious for not being able to kill anything, but anything can't kill it" theory.

Now with force, it's tricky, because I really don't see the use of force unless you decide to be a support blader? A blader who could jump into the middle of a WAR and just tank the hell out of mobs, but probably a pure STR would suit a force blader.

It's up to you.

90force 90light 90bich 30fire

why 90light instead of 90fire?
90fire = 9% + 9% = 18% phy dmg increase, fire imbue > light imbue, lets say fire imbue gives u another 12% more dmg than light, so 30% more dmg fr fire 90
but u got force, it increase ur dmg by at least 2x to 2.5x

200% vs 130%, and w/o light, u can cast all the vital spots on ur enemy, and watch ur enemy running away wif ghost walk and not able to kill him

hybrid or not u decide, actualli force, as u can see fr the build, its more meant for nukers cuz of 90light

and btw on my server mercury, even pure str fire bladers are rare :P

i could count only 7 or 8 lvl 85+ bladers on my server including myself

vital spots series that give loads of debuffs like warlock
division, impotent, weaken, decay, and some more status i think
lower enemy defence, lower enemy attack dmg, increase ur dmg on enemy

@clot: the biggest disadvantage is that you dont have immunity. With 30 fire you are quite vulnerable to cold, thats your downfall. Also anyone will cleric immunity will block out your vitals.

The only force build i deem as being workable for this cap is the 90 bow/90 fire/90force/30 cold pure str bow. The range and kb of bow make up for the lack of speed, vitals + firebuffs + insane crit rates for good damage and snow shield + heals + kb for tanking.

As far as your blader build is concerned, just take cold instead of light. Light really isn't needed now days. When jobbing/warring/FWing chances are you will have someone with sub bard for speed and when cape fighting not many people take advantage of the light factor.

sigh, dun really wanna explain the fire shield bug again :banghead:

30 fire = 28% reduce i think
4 parts acc max is 20% each, 4 x20% + 28% = 108% = immune to ice/fire/electric/zombie/poison

well he wanted something special and a force build, so i suggest one
if according to u, den all warlock subs char or warlocks in sro are useless

but that isnt the case, most of the time we 4get to bring cleric along wif us or run too far away fr cleric to solo on our own w/o knowing

Whatever you do, DONT MAKE A HYBRID BLADER.

The criticals of a lvl90 blader pure str rape just so you know. I got a few buddys with 90 force and I can tell you its amazing. They're builds are pure str, blader ofcourse, 90 Force/90 Fire/90Blade/30 Ice for the mana.

+1 ... We are talking about blader ... he is known by high hp and awesome tanking ability ...
I wouldnt make it hybrid ... Blader can kill any euro without problem ...

The thing that is stopping Blader to kill easy chinese is pot spamming only ...
You'll be euro killer - full str or hybrid ... the only diffrence is that they will have hard time killing you when you are full str :D
