Well since Joymax is banning bots and keeping the server populated (beside babel lmao) have any of you guys been buying silk normally?

Im planning to buy 30bucks of silk tommarow to get a prem+ even though I don't need the preferred game access, as a sign of appreciation for their "work".

Main Point of this thread

"Have you been buying silk or planning to buy silk, because of the server status"? Truthful answer would be appriciated, I know that some people dont buy silk as much as back when the server were crowded most of the time, because they dont need prem to log in.

If you are reading this Joymax, keep up with what you are doing, I can say that I am one of those who is appriciating your work/activity, even though I was a Joymax hater back then.

I buy premium for my own personal gain. I agree, Joymax is doing an excellent job [at least here on Saturn], not a single gold bot has made it 72+ [that I have seen or know of] I never saw gold bots @ snipers, and only 2-3 gold bots at Karras. Saturn is gold bot free. But back OT, I buy premium + for my needs + the stats, not because Joymax is doing a good job. I am proud of them though 8-). Now to take out some of those normal botters!!

I think after JM sees that they are losing money because of people only buying GT's instead of PT's, they will stop doing bot bans. I, for one, dont see the point in buying a PT if a GT does the exact same thing, only it doesnt have the preferred access, which, I dont need at this point. I can get 4 months out of buying GT's instead of PT's for the same price :P (or something close at least.)

So basically, I will be paying JM $28 LESS over the next 4 months b/c I am buying GT instead of PT. Thats a LOT of money multiplied over everyone who plays the game. But, then, most of the people are too dumb, and will pay $30 a month just to get +10 int/str (Which is absolutely pathetic, IMO.)

It's possible though that people will like Joymax's work on banning bots, and will see a reason to buy a GT - they may make more money from selling GT's than those who were buying premiums during the constant server traffic.

Seeing this is the first time I could log on at night in a year, I bought a cat. Course same thing happened last year, and the year before (sort of). Whenever a new legend is introduced, specially during summertime, they ban bots for awhile. Let's just wait and see if things continue or die down.

I hate it but I have to agree with you.

Back when the server were constantly crowded, people buy prem's = more money for then

Now server are not that crowded, people buy less expensive item mall stuff = less money for them

But is there any chance's that people buy more cheap item mall stuff in quantity than a single expensive item mall stuff?

Which leads to another question

Quantity or Quality

In my opinion PT is worth a lot more than the standard GT's.
With a GT you can only do the Seed quest which gives a max. of 2500 SP each time (max 3 times = 7500 SP).
PT you can do the fruit quest which gives a max. of 10000 SP each time (max 3 times = 30000 SP).
Pretty big difference.

You also get the 5% extra attack, defense, alchemy success, parry ration, attack ratio and so on - compared to the 5% only on GT (while PT is 10%).

And of course the extra 7 str and Int compared to the GT, while on PT. In my opinion the extra 9$ USD is worth the extra 22500 SP each month. ALso not to mention the extra 2 hours you gain while on PT, while GT only offer 3 hours per day of double exp/sp. The PT however enables you to gain 5 hours per day of double exp/sp - which is a decent bonus.

What I think you mean is the difference between Prem+, and Premium?

GT has no benefits other than 100% Exp

don't confuse GT with PT and PT plus

i'll continue to buy PT cuz of the seed quest, and PT plus isn't worth it for me.

Until i'm full farmed (probably 2 moths more) i will continue buying PT+ and a SP tiket. After that (if the problem with the traffic is there again) i will buy silver PT :) And that has nothing to do with what joymax is or is not doing.... just my plan of playing my char.

I don't buy silk to not get banned. I don't care if I get banned tbh... I'll just start over. Happened to me before, dc if it happens again. I only get silk to buy myself a premium+ every month for the 5 hour EXP bonus...and seldom, an SP ticket. I could get just the 100% bonus exp ticket, but with the p+, there's 2 extra hours, which adds up to 54 hours per month( if I added correctly. ) I've never capped before...and back on Oasis I left a level 56 full farmed Archer to come to Hera with my m8s. Glad I made the choice... As of now, I'm level 77 as you can see in my signature and also happy because I'm only 13 away from hitting the cap. Then comes the infamous farming time for me... -_-

I bought 400 silk the other day. Due to the servers always being populated, i didn't have to buy a prem and can simply survive with my Sylph revival clocks + wedding dress. Though given 4 months ago when all servers were constantly red, i may not have bought any at all.

They ban bots, they gain money. Its a win-win situation.
