I already asked this question in a chargeback thread, but im hoping this will give me a quicker answer.
Hope anyone here knows the answer to this:

What happens when u chargeback via Paypal on a certain account, but u also bought silk for another account with the same Paypal email ? Is that safe, or are they gonna ban the other account wich did not do chargeback but has the same Paypal email aswell ?

I would appreciate an answer. If it works, im gonna do a chargeback on my hacked account >.<
But i do not want to risk getting my new character banned wich uses the same email adress for Paypal silk charges. It wont be a problem if the Paypal email gets banned, i'll just use my girlfriends Paypal email

Second, how far can u go back with chargeback ? Is there like a 1 year limit or can u also chargeback from like 2 years ago ?

You can NOT CLICK on a thread and NOT READ it if you believe that the subject is frivolous or repetitive. If you know the answer or where it is posted, saying so is far more useful than screaming like a 10 year old.


BTW topic starter... Yes, it can get everyone who ever used your paypal banned, even if it was paid.

Chargeback is Fraud. Topics discussing it should not be allowed. Period.

chargeback is perfectly legal

charge back is not a fraud. it depends how you use it. i bet you dont even have a credit card. go look up what a charge back it.

Me and my friend have written them many e-mails, but nothing has helped yet.

charge back is fraud if you received what you pied for.

you buy something on ebay, pay them with paypal then you do a charge back that's fraud.

you buy silk, you receive silk, you use the silk, you quit and do a charge back.

if you purchased the product and you didnt like the quality of it then you can return it but with joymax you cant return silks so you do a charge back.

Example of a chargeback fraud: you purchase 300 silks to on a low lvl character and you use that silks to buy astral and immortals to put on your weap. then you trade the weap to another account then you do a charge back. Now that is a scam.

As many people have said, You recieved your silk. You know EXACTLY what you are getting when you buy it, and by forcing paypal to refund the money, you are commiting fraud.

And as far as the insults go, you should probably grow up and think of something better.

if you did not get what you have paid for, you can legally chargeback. If you did get what you paid for, it's illegal.

ppl do get their silk after paying, so a chargeback is illegal.

Dispute the chargeback. They have a dispute button, a contact button or something like that when you click on a transaction. Do it that way.

ok i got a question about how far you can go back with the chargeback...

some ppl say no limit, others say 45 days..

can some1 post some proof of not being able to chargeback after 45 days, or proof of being able to do it after 45 days?

For everony else who says its "illegal", my account got hacked due to Joymax f*ckup with the Global hub of Ripoff bug (the one where thousands accounts got hacked due to Joymax's mistake). I find it more then fair to get my money back because it is al wasted for nothing since i cannot use that account anymore due to our beloved Korean friends.....

And second, NB and Mike, u give contradicting answers

I really really need to be sure my other account does not get banned.
Mike or Nightbloom, any of u ever performed a chargeback yourself ? It would seriously suck if my new account would get banned aswell just because it uses the same Paypal email.

its not an insult, most people on this srf are not even old enough to drink, drive, or own a credit card. so i doubt that they know what a charge back is used for. like i mention above not all charge back are illegal, it depends on how you use it. btw dont insult me with that growing up bs. maybe you should think of something better when someone has a question about charge back, instead saying something stupid in your first post.

And what if all that silk u bought goes down the drain because u cannot use your account anymore due to a huge fault solely on Joymax's side ? (reffering to the massive account hax due to security fault on joymax.com) And don't give me the "u should've changed your password", their should'nt be a need to change a password because Joymax screwed up. I could not change my PW because it was my first account and i just answered the SQ with something like sdkfsdfksd. I never thought i'd actually going to need the SA, this is the first game for wich u actually need it due to its crap security.

I have heard conflicting answers as well. I heard that if its the chargeback that paypal sometimes does with overseas accounts, then all the other accounts arent affected. But if you do it yourself, a multiple chargeback of several transactions, then yes, the other accounts get banned.

That is ONLY what I heard cause I have never actually talked to anyone who has had an account banned like that, only ones that have been banned from direct chargeback.
