After looking at the server stats I saw 2 server Troy and Pluto with taxes of -20%, I login to pluto and it is really -20%, now my question is... does that mean the FTW winner will need to pay money instead of gaining money? Or does it just cancel out?

lol, XxX union decided it would put the tax at -20%, and no, the occupying guild doesnt pay anything. No, it does not cancel out. All it does is make things 20% cheaper in said town.

Anyway, nothing but good came from this haha.

Jobbing on Troy came back to life. Its not just trading Const-Sam or Sam-Hotan.

People started doing trades to Don and Jangan again. Thieving became more alive. [Seriously, I havent seen the kind of thief activity that has been storming Troy these past few days since way back at the 70 cap.]

Hopefully this keeps up xD

I'm a greedy whore, and with the huge inflation of the economy, I'd be at +20% easily.

That's what you think. The gold bot era ended. Before you could make 500mil~a bil with two weeks because of the golds bots. Now they don't even bother recreating because of they get banned less than a month. Max you make now is 500mil min 200mil.

What's really beneficial from <Insert number in between whats mentioned above>?

Keep in mind it's a union thing not just guild leader becomes a greedy asshole and keeps the majority of it. Of course it can be like that, but if it is.. the only people that would follow would be.. I dunno the proper word would be.. but yeah.

True, but even that little bit can't hurt.

Make the server active back at jang and use half the gold to create items? Or keep all the gold and who ever can make items comes out his pocket.

Fortress items isn't 10k when it comes to hammers+toads and creating the guards. Everything else is pretty much well.. nothing. If memory serves me correct.

If people still needed wind 2 then you could put the percent to -20% then buy up like 5 chars of hand blades. Then put the percent back up.

20% does not equal 60%.

Im pretty sure if you set it at -20% it makes a negative in the levyable taxes, and you'll need to set it at a + % and wait for it to go over 0 before you can levy those taxes again.

It takes nothing.

@chesticles. The gold bot era died. There isnt a gold bot train running in jangan anymore. Theres like 10 running around town instead of 100. Prefer people trading again in jangan or make 200mil~400mil?

Easy choice.

How sure are you? Someone ask the leader of Catastrophe in Greece, I heard that the KUWAIT guild had -20% for awhile and when they were overthrown on the collecting day the leader couldn't levy the taxes and had to pay the 1-2 bill that was saved up.

This was said over vent one day so could be a rumor but it makes total sense. Can't have a -% without someone to end up paying.

So if that's the case having -20% has it's ups and downs same as +20%. If you believe your guild is falling apart set it to -20 so when the fort is taken they have to pay or wait a few weeks for it to even out.

I was leader of the holding guild for a while.. it doesnt take any gold.

I only think that non-town fortress will affect things like Bargain Trade goods. Not town items.

That fortress is lulz. I wouldn't see an actual point in setting it at 20%. Why? You'd make like 10mil max. Everyone will avoid going there like Jangan.

It taxes the ferry and special goods. You can make behemoths/lizards and items. That's pretty much to it. I wouldn't see an actual point in having it other than behemoths/lizards
