Just a quick run through:
+number (eg +1, +2 etc) These are called enchantments. The higher the number, the better the equipment's stats will be. Weapons will also show a different glow at different enchantments eg +3 ~ white glow, +5 ~ pink glow (there will be a change to this glow at different enchantments, so keep a look out when we'll be getting that as an update on International Silkroad). You can raise an items enchantment by doing alchemy, that is to add the correct elixir to the item you are trying to enchant (Look for alchemy guide in Guides Tutorials section for more details regarding this).
Seal of Star, Seal of Moon and Seal of Sun (or SoX for short) These work just like enchantments. On weapons, they have their own glow (pink aura around the weapon). They only appear on first tier items of any degree (items come in 3 tiers: eg degree 8 items come in levels 64, 68 and 72, so Seal of x items will only be on lvl 64 for degree 8 items). They are only obtained from drops (the exception being Seal of Honor weapons from the Guardianship system). You cannot add SoX on an item, it comes as is from a drop. As a general guide for strength valuation: Seal of Star ~ +5 Seal of Moon ~ +10 Seal of Sun ~ +15 Remember there is more to evaluating a Seal item, but use that as a general guide to compare it to other similar items. Common abbreviations for SoX items are SoS, SoM, SoSun for star, moon and sun respectively.
