oh boy, I just so happen to be an all around IT expert (and hacker lol) Universities use hardware PIX's unless they're completely retarded and those are the toughest firewalls that exist. The standard setting for them at universities is the opposite of regular firewalls. They block ALL ports except the ones used. Port 80 I think is for the internetand and 6001 for Starcraft if I remember correctly

so yeah, most software uses a unique port but it doesn't really matter which one SRO uses because you're not going to get it unblocked. In order, the network connection to a proxy would be computer-collegeserver-pix-proxy-SROserver so using a proxy won't help at all because the SRO data will still stop at the PIX. The only way for it to work is to drive down to starbucks, buy one of those giant cookies, and play wirelessly on their connection

I suppose some sort of program or hardware out there exists for re-routing data from one port to another that isn't blocked but it wouldn't be safe and certainly not fast and might confuse the SRO servers. So yeah, try and find an outside connection otherwise there's no way.
