Well, around 12:00 AM, San Diego time, I don't know what the timezone is, so if someone could just figure that out for me. Anyway, around that time, my game stops working. My character just stands, monsters don't move and I can't do anything, it's just in a static position.

After I close it because I can't close it manually, my browser stops working. Can anyone identify this problem and tell me how to fix it?

Try Pacific Standard Time. You should ask Google one, day, he knows quite a lot.

Try running through various solutions for other internet related problems. Aftwards, let us know 'hey these solutions don't work', thus maybe we can procure a new solution through working together.

I think that would have been obvious, but somehow he managed to post on these forums, which requires a browser.

Maybe this is a DHCP release/renew issue on the modem?

Some ISPs have a 24 hour lease and the only way to get around it is to reset the modem at a time when the connection is not being used.

Well yea, but I don't think a DHCP issue would cause this large of a freeze/crash.

I restarted my computer and my browser started working. After I posted this, I tried getting in Silk Road again and after a shorter time the same thing happened.

And I'm pretty sure my internet's not down because I can use limewire and other programs that require internet but don't need a browser.

I've been thinking, is it somehow possible that traffic is causing this?
