Ever since i downloaded the fortress war client ive been getting an anal load of errors recently.
My screen would freeze but the music would still be playing, or my screen would just go completely black, and this is the most recent one that happens so frequently its pissing me off:

I've never had any of these problems at all since the Fortress War Client, If anyone knows how to Fix that error up there please share.
Do I have to upgrade/install anything? Help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Judging from the error message, your drivers were last updated in 2004. The graphics card manufacturer has probably come out with newer drivers by now, and the error is most likely because the current drivers are out of date. Go look for the new ones and install them ^^

btw, I've found the easy, quick way to solve the ????? error is to restart your comp, works everytime for me.

the screen freeze one though unfortunately, other than blindly logging out (if possible) or forcing it closed via ctrl+alt+del, got nothing for you >.<

you have on board so you need to look up the motherboard and look for new updates.. windows update should be the first place to look..

ehh im kinda computer illiterate. How do i find the name of my mother board?, i thought that Windows update automatically did those things for me already so i didnt bother.
ive tried updating my video driver but it told me there was nothing better at the moment so it didnt download anything. i thought fixing my registry and defragging would do the trick but it didnt. if u can tell me where to find the name of my motherboard and how to update ide appreciate it.
thanks

most likely it is your graphics card drivers out of date i have a link for you

http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/cs-011594.htm

go there and click the download button for the graphics driver for the 910GL express chip that should fix your problem, also installing windows updates doesnt hurt either :)

hmmm idk it could possibly be your power supply not being able to handle everything, when playing turn off background programs and keep the graphics on the lower end and see if that helps any.

Yeah I was thinking bout the power supply as well. And yeah pretty much all of my stuff is on low. Funny thing is it would only happen if sro was on windows mode. I left it alone and i got the question mark error again instead of my comp restarting. But it was awhile before it occurred again. Honestly I'de rather have the question mark error than the restart problem. The sudden restarts scare me a bit because when it restarts and my desktop loads, it says that a serious error has occurred.
but yeah thanks for all your help man!
