For starters,
You have to pay for Fraps. It's $15 or £7.50 in Pound Sterling.
With the demo version, you can only record 30 seconds of video capture.
With the full version, you can do unlimited amount of video capture time.
As to the file size of videos, it saves it as a pure AVI file, this is rawr data, so as you can imagine, its going to be huge.
Use something like Virtual Dub with a DIVX codec to compress the file by huge amounts.
Then upload it to You tube
