My game updated like every1 else did, i guess.
i downloaded the manual patch, double click on it and a message popped up "can not patch, the patch will stop " or something like that.
I unistalled the game and once again, I installed it.
i had the 1.01 installer... the game updated again (it took me around 1 hour) and then the START button appeared, i clicked on it and suddenly the ???? mark window came again... so i can't play.
Now i'm dowloading the installer 1.02 from the silkroadonline.net website but i don't know if it will work...
If some1 knows something plz reply. I would really appreciate it.

I don't think there is a 1.02 installer...anyway, make sure SRO isn't running when you try to apply the patch. Also, antiviruses, especially Norton, love to stop .exe's from altering other .exe's. Turn off all protection programs before applying the manual patch and it should work fine. Oh and also, make sure you run the patch .exe file from the same folder as the .dll file that comes with it.

You can temporarily stop all programs that run at startup by running msconfig (start -> run -> msconfig) -> then go to the startup tab -> and uncheck everything. Once you're done patching you can then enable all of them. Make sure to restart if msconfig asks you too.
