 Post subject: D3D9 error and Visual C++ at the same time

yeah... well, that's probably it. This is what I get after I press the start button:

So, I press OK. Then this one pops up:

You guessed it, I press OK again:

I've never even played SRO... And I can't ask for help on the official forums, they said something about a Writer's name o.O
And I'm not technical, so if you explain please explain so that I can understand

It could be the lack of sleep... But I just can't seem to figure out what it wants from me =.='

Any help would be very much appreciated ^^

sounds like your graphics card is ancient and can't handle directx. Installing the SDK shouldn't help if that's the case. If you wanna try it though, just google search for the directx 9 sdk or search download.microsoft.com. Also, update your graphics card driver cuz it might need some fixes if it was made for 9.0 original cuz there's changes in the 9.0c version that SRO uses.

Yeah, I do have an anctient graphics card... I figured out as much :P
I tried to install the SDK, but it didn't work. It also didn't want to update my graphics card... no SRO for me, I guess...
