not sure about how to update drivers

hey everyone ppl tell em the prob to my c++ error is drivers but im not so sure how ot update em..........ive gone to this link
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp and ive download the one for geforce 4 (the one i have) and it didnt seem to do anything.......any help would be appreciated
