I always do that on accident. Forgot how I fixed it but it's relaly easy.
Just try dragging things around a big, make the task bar bigger and start dragging. :3

try unlocking ur taskbar then moving a few hing around then locking it again.. its the only thing i can think of..

You prolly locked your task bar yeah. Right click on the taskbar and uncheck 'Lock Taskbar' and you should be able to move the stuff around again.

yeah first unlock the taskbar by leftclicking on it, then i think you must drag a bit.
