It's a router issue; your router has some problems with its NAT (Network Address Translation) implementation. Try using fixed IP addresses in stead of DHCP, update your router software, search online for a fix for your router, or find a router that works properly.

Hmm, trendnet isn't exactly known for NAT issues, I'll give you that. I've heard that XP and Vista have some differences in their TCP/IP stack, and that might be of influence, but the main issue remains NAT related. C10 is caused if a connection is already open to a certain IP address/TCP port, and any proper NAT router should handle that. Which trendnet router do you use, and how are your computers connected (wireless or not)?
Edit: I did notice some trendnet NAT issues mentioned in the Azureus forums, but I'm not sure if they're related to what you're experiencing here.
Edit: If you're using Windows Vista, consider turning off IPv6.

I have no idea why it would help, but some people seem to have fixed NAT issues on their router by setting their MTU to a different value (1350 for instance). Makes me wonder what the designers of that router were thinking...

Very odd that nod could have caused that, unless the built in firewall in those tools also provides a form of automated port forwarding. Happy to hear it's working properly now though.
