Ultimate Farming guide for chinese[Firstly, I hope to help all that read this
guide. These are my recommended methods of farming. Enjoy! ^^]
Well, as we all know, our chinese characters need a huger amount of sp each level to get new skills, and as most people choose 3 or 4 masterys, it's highly necessary that in some point you make what is called "sp farming", that means leaving a "gap" of difference between your character level and your skill masterys levels.
Now, there are many different kinds of farming for different kinds of people. You should understand what kind of person you are, and choose the tecnique that best suits your playing method.
First Method: Pure Farming at a single levelPrefered levels: 16, 32, 52, 69*.*didnt do myself, so I wont put in the
guide.
This is the first one of the "pure farm" series. It means that you choose a single level for farming and focus on staying around that level as far as you have all the sp you will need up to your end cap, and then fast leveling up.
Advantages - As all Pure, it has
focus, and thus you manage to get more skill points in a lower time. Plus, if you have a decent weapon, you make a great sum of money, which is good for any in-game necessity.
Disadvantages - Every time you level up, you get less sp from that focused monster. How can you keep a single level over and over? There's only one way. Dying and being ressed. until you Exp goes back to near 0 of the required level. For this, you need to coordinate 2 pc's or have a friend which will regularly help you. Sometimes is quite a problem.
Level 16 - Most of people like to purchase a decent bow of level 16 and farming in the bandit den, in the center of the stronghold, where the spawn rate is near to insane (every 3 seconds you get a new bandit after you kill one). The problem of level 16 is quite obvious: as it's low level, even keeping a 9-level gap wont keep you from leveling pretty fast, and then you need to die again and return to around 0% of level 16. Without SP ticket, you'll have to get ressed always after getting around 1700sp, unless you wish to keep farming at level 17 with a lower incoming sp rate, and then dying around 100 times after. Also, will NOT provide much variation, and you wont be able to trade "for a change". Pretty boring, but can make you rich.
Note- No farkin' bots around, but expect a lot of Ks'ing from high-lvs and powerlvling.
Level 32 - The monster recommended for this are the Blood Flowers on the Western China, after Dowhang. Just find a spot where 2 or 3 blood flowers appear all the time, stay between them and start farming. Advantage: pretty fast spawn rate, close distance between them, allowing all kinds of weapons to benefit from this farming, almost as bow users. Obviously, the bad point are the prices of the lv32 sos+ weapons (which you might need) and the (still) fast leveling. For those of you who want gather around 400k of sp, it's still not the optimal option, as you'll need res kinda often (although not nearly as often as lv16). A good side is that you'll be able to do some jobbing if you are so sick of farming that want to blow your computer out of the window.
Note- BOTs area. Go at your own risk.
Level 52 - If you like Karakoram and enjoy being a mid/high-lv, go for this if you can. The monsters recomended are Ishades / Hashades. You'll need res just after a good while, the Ishades are pretty, Karakoram music is amusing... you'll have a good time there, overall. Of course, the lv52 sos weapons are insanely higher than the other two, so you'll have to find a way to avoid that problem. Also, Hashades use magic attack, so pure str will hurt more on them than nukers or bowers. It's slower than bandits, though, but enjoyment > speed in my point of view.
Note - BOTs area as well. But in some servers you can find nice & lonely places to level.

Second Method: Keeping a "pure" gap at all levelsPrefered levels: 1-46 (9) / 1-80 (5).This is the second part of the "Pure Farm" series. It means that you choose to level up with a constant gap until a fixed level, and then close your gap to 0 afterwards.
Advantages: Allow you to level up, no need to have friends ressing you. The first kind allow you to powerfarm on Ongs until a decent level. Also, you will use less MP, thus making some profit.
Disadvantages: Incredibly boring. And it has 2 main disadvantages: first (no powerlevel applied) is the necessity of very strong weapons every level you can (mainly at levels 8, 16, 24, 32, 42, etc). Second is, as some monsters have somewhat bad spawn rates, and you'll keep a gap all along, you'll suffer a lot on some levels. Then again, you might want to get powerfarmed at those levels (losing money, though).
Pure Gap level 1 to 46 - 9 level gapping series. Prepare to spend the most boring time of your life hunting almost the same monsters over and over (with noob skills) and trying to get more money to buy better weapon. Or to get completely bored getting powerfarmed. Either way, the truth must be said: it is boring as hell, but allows you to close the gap at level 46 and go all the way to 80 with 0 gap, what is like heaven. Just assure you wont break your pc until level 46, because you'll want to.
Pure Gap level 1 to 80 - 5 level gapping series. Not as bad as hard farming, not as good as 0 gapping. You stay somewhere in the gray line, and get around 400k sp as well, on 80. Works fine, but you'll never have the chance to experience 0-gapping, what is kinda sad. Overall, the games will just be somehow slower for you. And, as I said, in some areas that will make you pretty mad.

Third Method - Hybrid's wayRecommended levels: 1-80.This is the ultimate method of farming, giving the best of both worlds: you'll get enough sp, and you'll never be bored for long. So I call this hybrid's way. How does it work? Using fully the game's own advantages of passive buffs. It does only up every 10 levels. Then, the way it works is keeping all your masteries the same level as your passive ones. That means, you'll only up all your masteries at levels 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70. After 70 you already should have enough SP to go all the way to 80 with 0 gap, but if you dont, just make the same way again.
Advantages: No boredom for more than few levels at a time, and you'll move to new areas at a decent rate.
Disadvantages: None that I know.
Hybrid Farm: Lv1-80 - Well, it basically will let you have a "pleasant" gaming experience: you'll level fast in some levels, and level slower on some others. The strategy is focusing around a monster with a good spawn while you get nearer to 9 gap.
Important Note - Obviously, as you'll get weaker with the higher gap, you shouldnt fight monsters of your level, but some levels below, around 3-4 is the best (if they have good spawn). If you have sos or +5 weapons, though, I suggest moving to mobs closer to your char. level (since some of them have a good spawn). Either way, it's up to you.
I can provide suggestions for those, according to your level:
6~10 - Water Ghosts
16~20 - Bandits
25~28 - Devil Horses
28~30 -
Earth Ghosts / Taoists (need good weapon)36~40 - Black Robber /
Archer46~50 - Ultra Blood Devil /
Mugiji (good weapon)56~60 - Sonar, Penons /
Yetis (good weapon)66-70 - Dark, Blood Kara /
Moles (good weapon)_____________________________
