Light armor, for the passives

Later you can switch to robe if you REALLY want to.

I would go robe but on the beginning you can use light armor because you need bigger phy deff but later when you want to pvp and pve against monsters with magic attack use robe, you already have shield and much healing skills so you can use robe for extra magic deff.

No my friend. The thing of using light armor with cleric would be for the glory passives (which only work when holding a cleric rod and wearing light armor), which will help you a damn lot. I really do not recommend robes for clerics.
