I was wondering what other warlock use for their spells in the Dark Mentalist and the Raze line.

do you guys even put a point into the blaze or toxin?
and which raze do you guys find useful pvp and pve wise

is there any other difference between combat raze and combat ravage aside from going to 3 target simutaneously? thanks

Blaze and Toxin are completely pointless once you get Decayed and Curse Breath, but they are the only DoT spells you get early on, so you should update them until you get the later two.

All the razes are good in their own situations. If you are a warrior warlock, you should take Physical Raze over Medical Raze, and vice versa for a main class warlock. I find myself using all of the debuffs in pvp, with the addition of Wheel Bind, which is the ultimate Chinese character killer. Without their pots, all Chinese builds are easily dropped by DoT and nukes that barely scratch them before. In PvE it's good to debuff party monsters with all of the debuffs as well, to drop the mobs' defense and lower their attack. Impotent (and wheel bind in PvP cases) is absolutely essential in all cases. As long as a warlock can tank one or two hits, it is more than enough time to stun and attack cancel the hell out of the opponent. Impotent is a godsend for pure INT builds who cannot withstand strong hits from opponents. It can mean the difference between being 1-hitted or dominating your opponent.

The single target razes and the multi-target razes have only a few differences. The single target raze has an extremely short cooldown (2 seconds) and cast time (instant), while the multi-target razes take 1 second longer to cast and have a 5 second cooldown.

I use all the skill bars to the max, since I am full warlock/full cleric. I have two cleric and two warlock bars and split that floating on between the two classes. I have a pve bar and a pvp bar both similar but very different applications. my aoe dots are on my pve bar since when your grinding time effectiveness does count so much. for pvp you shouldnt be using the aoe dots unless your jobbing, since most pvp at like dw south is only 1vs1 you start throwing aoe dots out and you will find yourself againts 20 chars not one lol

Best single dots: Decayed, cursed breath

for aoe dots get them all

And oh in group pve if you have another warlock freind, you can each add two dots to the same mob. two decayed and two cursed breaths, makes quick work of any party gaint. lol

Gear and pots are both a big part of it. Taking out the potions is like knocking down a big pillar of support for Chinese, but I understand what you're going at. But saying that they have more defense than Euros can be debated. Chinese builds are also usually pure STR or an INT based build. If you took a Euro warrior and a Chinese glaiver and neither of them had clothes on, they would probably have the same amount of physical and magical defense, assuming that they didn't screw up and add to INT on accident. If the glaiver was wearing garments, then yes, he/she would have much more magic defense than a warrior in heavy armor. But in return, the glaiver would have less physical defense than the warrior, having sacrificed it in return for magic defense.

What I'm saying is that any build without potions will die extremely quickly provided that there is no outside healing. Theoretically, both Chinese and Europeans would have the same stats if they are pure. You were correct in saying that there are more Chinese sosuns than Euro sosuns. But Sosuns simply allow the wearer to tank more damage and to deal more damage. If that sosun player had no potions, they will still die even with godly defense. That's where Wheel Bind comes in. Adding a potion delay of 5 seconds is lethal for anyone, and sosunners are no exception. Defense is not everything.

the bless spell stays when you switch weapons, but the defense buffs will leave you when you change weapons.
