Yeah all ints lose damage when they hybridize but... No damage at all? That's just....

That is with refrence to 90 fire/ice.. it isnt smart to hybridise since it already has a weaker mag atk then 90 light/ice.. read the whole post.
Oh and yeah, i'v seen this build perform as a hybrid s/s and the dmg output is horrific, its better suited for a spear build.

Go hybrid to have stronger heuksal attacks? emm. I dont really follow you here... That's like saying strs do more damage than ints.

I read your whole post. The mag damage buff difference is 11 percentage units. Fire's imbue and nukes are stronger than light's. Imbue affects all attacks. As you hybridize, you lose mag damage, but gain physical damage. Now that you have the 18% phy damage buff, you gain more phy damage than a fireless char would gain. Hybridizing and the fire phy damage buff mean slightly higher crits.
And that hybrid s/s you saw.. It was a blader. No, seriously if someone says hybridize, it doesnt automatically mean 1:2 or something like that. I believe 60 ice is good enough if you go like 1:5 (85%) and you can still nuke.

well, a pure str heuk char will do more damage then a pure int using heuk skills (averaging crits into the equation).

Let me guess, a pure str blader will also do higher damage than int s/s with weapon skills?

Lol? Int's heuksal damage is way more than str's heuksal damage. The only thing that str's have is better crit. Same thing goes for physical bicheon skills

The problem is that sword has one of the lowest phy atk dmg's, compared to spear which has one of the highest. So it does not really benifit from the fire phy dmg increase in the same way that a spear hybrid does. :/ it just loses mag atk to gain a small ammount of phy atk, which it already lacks, IMO the payoffs from hybridising do not cover the costs.
EDIT: This is ofcourse purely from the viewpoint of a Zeus player, which he commented upon the standered build that most nukers on our server choose, and that is the question that I am answering.

90 bicheon, 90 fire, 90 light 30 ice.

Now that's Elite.

You don't need to worry about magic def you got A LOT.

Phy def you got Shield for Block = no damage and Shield = Damage reduce.
23% Snow and a 15 sec oh extremely high phy defense.

and Wear a mixture of protector and armor or Just pure protector and armor whatever works best for you.

Imagine the intense damage fire Nukes and Imbue With Lightning Mag % Buff :P

There is a mix of opinions, and ideas...

Im so unsure right now!..

Im thinking of staying the light build due to the mixed opinions of everyone on SRF.. i cant be sure that 30 light is enough, or 60 60 is enough light :S

^ lightning lvl 30 is definitely too little for a pure int,

at least lvl 60 is required for a somewhat satisfying damage output,

I have a lvl 40 fire/light nuker(planning to make it 90spear/90fire/90light/30cold)

The damage is awesome, though the fire skill tree doesn't offer much more than damage and magical defence...

its different, but not worse than a full str nuker :D

Light skill tree offers... speed? Yeah the same thing you get from jewel npc or bard. O'yeah, and the mag buff...
60 light for somewhat satisfying damage output? We must have different standards since I consider Tonic_x' damage pretty satisfying. Of course if you have a capped s/s with 30 light, I admit you know better.
Your build will probably have nice damage... Have fun surviving with 23% snow shield. :P

Tonic_x..
Code: Select all
This is the 90 fire/ice build, it performs quite well, he is pure int.. imo its better as a slightly hybrid spear, and 60:60 is better as a heavier spear hybrid.

Didnt mean it in an offensive way. But saying things like "30 light is definately not enough", I'd expect something to explain why this is so, how do you know that is true. Tonic, who actually has a capped fire nuker with 30 light says his damage got better when he dropped light for fire. And Tonic_x has been mentioned in this thread earlier.

fire vs light again^^

Current situation with the need of snowshield, i think maxing light/bich+ice is good move,u wont go wrong if u going pure or little hybrid.

But...maxing light and bring it to the ongoing increasing cap where in the end ull have the choice of having 2 mastery, then bich/light offer no real defense. Fire Or Ice do have real defense and benefit. But...if only ur planing to get to 150 cap with that char^^ and there is always curse heart.

Ok,

I think..

Im going to go 90 Bicheon, 90 Cold, 90 FIRE, 30 Light..

I think with 15 levels Of STR using garms should be fine, should fair well against Glavier, Bow and blader. But i think i will be fine against Nukers if i max parry, and get good whites on my gear....

However, if i am 7:1, 15 levels of STR, can i survive with a Lvl 60 Snow shield? I debating getting 60 cold, 60 Light.. and 90 Fire, 90 Bicheon? as a HYBRID! would this possibly work better?

Opinions and Evidence need'ed!!

Post some videoes!!

I believe 1:7 is 11 levels of str. That's be 88% naked mag balance... Think it's like 2k more hp than a pure int would have, not sure though. Both builds would probably work with this balance/ratio. 90 ice 30 light for better survivability, 60 light/ice for more damage, your choise. 60/60 takes less farming, has higher speed and mag damage buff. 90 ice would give higher snow shield and better phy defence, as well as up-to-date (secondary) nukes and imbue.
