notice the insane amount of damage that the glaive is taking. mana sheild affecting this? if the % is 50% then the str's mp will be destroyed. no more skills or imbue for him.

You mean fire wall because frost wall disappears in less than than it takes to use a nuke.

That 16k crit would be considerably less on a pure int. Why? - Because a pure int would have fully farmed frost guard and cold passive, a pure int would wear armor rather than garments, and a pure int will have mana shield. We know that pure int spear with armor+fully farmed cold will have more defense than pure str glaive with garments and a lv20 (?) frost guard. The pure int would take less than half of the damage shown in those screenshots by this reasoning.

That's why i never suggest to build pure Str ice :wink:
Only Int need ice. Str has already a lot of phy def, so it's useless to go ice

i dont think so buddy and btw the mana shield you talk about has a huge cooldown delay so use it once and gg after

edit and level 20 frost guard lol keep dreaming

I'm currently lvl 20
PURE INT

taking the 80 cap and the 90 cap in consideration

Would a Heuskal / Bicheon build be good for the 80 cap and be really good in 90 cap (mana shield)

Heuksal / Bich 90
Lightning 90
Ice 90

Using the lightning imbue and nukes would this build be good for the 80 cap and 90 cap?

For example a str char with 20k HP, your damage rate is 3k dmg/s, HP regeneration rate (from pots) is 1.5k HP/s
So it will take 10s to kill that Str.
But if u use new ice skill, 50% dmg reduce for example. Will u kill him in 20s?

The answer is NO. Because your dmg rate is now 1.5k dmg/s, but the 1.5k HP/s regeneration will make your attack harmless.

lol, 10s for a pure int to kill a pure str who's potting, lmfao :roll:

I said an example

Just go to DW south gate and ask someone with 10k dmg nuke to a str 20k HP. Then ask another person with 5k dmg nuke. U'll understand that 5k nuke will take forever to kill that str.

Time to kill = HP / (dmg rate + HP regen rate).

Now divide dmg rate per 2 and see if time to kill is multiple by 2? Dont be so dumb


all the noncap theorists are always in the dark of how it really is at the caps, lol :P

From what I heard... It takes a percentage of the dmg taken and turns it into dmged mp instead of hp... So when using this skill, you will be getting hurt in hp and mp which makes you last longer in PvP...
Also it looks like a blue light is around your character... Like a messed up force field thats not circular..

look at the status bar up top (second ss). first book of frost guard apparently.
