Going back to toppic if you dont want to be str you have to decide how much int you will put in your build. Nothing is for free, you can obtain a significant amount on the damage putting many point on int but that doesnt mean that you will pawn. When I fight other nukers of my levels they can do on me between 5 and 7k each nuke, and you have to have enough HP to resist 2 nukes (consider that you will pot on the middle but you will not get to full HP) because at least in my case I can 2-hit them. As bowmen you will be hitting stronger than the classical glavier but you dont have stun and they have it and even doing lots of phantom walk they will manage to do it and you have to survive to this moment.
But remember the most important thing about the archer, the archer use their range to use their skills (that are slower but stronger). If you forget that fact and go directly to tank a glavier the only way that you will survive is that you gear is much better than his gear.

LOok Archers are good in Pve any time especially when u get ur strong bow skill its really good if u think about it
Engage enemy in long range before it senses u ur charging and as soon its comming combom it and demon soul it for finish
