without fire you are loosing every battle , no mag.defence no status protected no good imbue no passive phy damage 9%
use fire90 in every case.

90 glaive 90 fire 90 ice 30 light
remember, there are a LOT of euro's now, and so whenever you job, there will typically be a bard and/or cleric in the party whom will give you moving speed.
with 90 ice you gain extra physical defense, which allows you to survive longer. remember, the point of a pure str is not to kill, but to hold off the enemy long enough so that the damage dealers can kill him.

use fire90 in every case. First level imbue of Cold does 500 dmg less than lv.80 imbue of fire on Full STR. Imbue for STR = Shit!

There is not a best build, it depends on what you prefer. 90heuksal/90fire = must, and you have 120 masteries left to choose among lightning or cold. Lightning improves your speed and mobility and therefore your performance at most group pvping situations. Cold on the other hand improves your phy defense, and therefore your performance in most 1vs1 pvp situations. It depends on what you prefer. There's only one hybrid between these, that's the build 90heuksal/90fire/72cold/48light, which has a kind of good speed and good phy def, but at 100 cap you'll have to choose either speed or def and then delevel one of them. You can also go with 90-100heuksal/90-100fire/90-80lightning/30-20cold, but then cold will be only for snow shield which would help you at surviving for 2 mins. @RagnorakNitro wrote: First level imbue of Cold does 500 dmg less than lv.80 imbue of fire on Full STR. Imbue for STR = Shit! +1 Therefore mag atk % lightning buff = completely worthless. For 1vs1 pvping cold > lightning. For group pvping lightning > cold (only because of speed and ghost walk). Parry ratio changes pretty much nothing.

i prefer the 90heuksal90fire72ice48light...or just simply 90heuksal90fire48ice52light for 100cap (100heuk100fire48ice52light) the ice would help much more with the tanking and the loss of the parry ratio wouldn't hurt too much. plus the 90heuk90fire48ice52light is less sp too so i prefer it the most

90 Heuskal/ 90 Fire/ 90 Force/ 30 Ice or Light is the way to go. The reduced parry ratio doesn't matter because you can decrease it from your opponent. The additional defense of ice doesnt matter because you can decrease that too.

Dlvling at every cap raise is a problem that will always exist, but fortunately the cap increases take some time to be done. I don't suggest you to be always worrying about that. If you are thinking about the long term and don't want to have problems dlvling, then go with heuksal/fire, and you'll never have to worry about dlvling. Worrying about that now is completely useless though. You are gaining absolutely nothing from it, you are only losing your time and will be using builds weaker than how they could be.

Hello you guys forgot about Force?
Heksual/Fire/Force is best, you can do insane damage with the debuffs on your opponent.

Glaviers seem to have more issues with defense than offense, so I would go ahead and do Glavie90 Fire90 Cold90 light30. Bards/drugs fix speed...
Protector is good stuff, 15 second thing helps a lot.
And afiak you could use a very high level snow against nukers, as they have a long cast time for you to recover your MP. I don't think most glaviers are able to kill nukers in snow without a lot of crits....so using a snow of your own might work out a lot better.

Nukers barely nuke at cap, they prioritize Heuksal/Bicheon skills over Nukes. IMO Glaivers shouldn't even need snow shield. First of all, a Pure Str Glaiver will eat MP potions like crazy as Heuksal skills are very costly MP-Wise. + He'd be Pure Str which means at cap he'd have around 11k MP. And with each Heuksal skill costing 3k+ MP + the Imbue Glaivers just don't have the sufficient amount of MP to use a snow shield.

From my experience PvPing glaviers, they fail defensively. I am a rogue, and I was a warrior. As both builds glaivers present very little challenge. Even the simple Bless+spamming dagger skills seems to do the job so long as they don't stun you, or if you get a significant crit.

perhaps here is another alternative to think abt ...
90 glaive 89 light for speed and imbue (maxing to 90 is no big diff from 89) 61 fire to get immunity and that huge jump in mag def and phy dmg buff and passive. will lose 5% in phy dmg buff/passive total for not maxing fire to 90. 60 cold to get some snow shield and that huge jump in phy def.

all ur glavie builds are boring
the best glavie build is heuksal/fire/force maxed. best 1on1 build. many of the glaviers in our server is changing from 90light - 90force. its very good with all the debuff.
but my personal favorite would be heuksal/bicheon/fire. dual weapon build, this is the most owning build in history if you know how to play it right.

I would suggest:
Heuksal 90 Fire 90 Lightning 60 Cold 60
If you prefer more phy def you may do this way also:
Heuksal 90 Fire 90 Lightning 52 Cold 68
And for the 100 cap you have 2 choices:
Heuksal 100 Fire 100 Lightning 50 Cold 50
Heuksal 100 Fire 100 Cold 100

Believe me i been tested , chars without that skill are running away from battle (yes used phantom XD to run away and never back).
