Because your mag balance will never be really high.
Wouldn't it be better to focus more on weaponskills?

I recentlly changed my build to this one and and 3x, I feel like I burn even more MP pots as with a full int, because the nukes are quite potdemanding.

SRO is more int based, this is evident in the weps and imbue. therefore in pve and pvp, nukes would be used just for the initial attack then followed by weps skills.

most ppl worry about the cooldown of flying dragon, but if u invest in that tree, u will be able to have book1 and book2 therefore no cooldown time and increase lvling speed

So I'm working on this build, but as this is my first go around in SRO, I went ahead and moved up my mastery lvls to 19 (even though I understand SP farming) after I farmed about 1600 points, I am lvl 21 now. So what should I do exactly with the gap, go with 9 and knock up more points till I get a huge amount, or should I go to lvl 40 as you said, then keep the gap at 9. I guess I would then start chewing out points. Your opinion?

But at lvl 42 with a 9 lvl gap your masteries are at lvl 33, giving you 1-3 nukes. That should be enough to grind.

lion shout is an OK skills for pure INT; fast, ranged and fast cooldown [well not very fast].. i tink for hybrid better use ghost spear [hi % dmg] better than lion shout series; coz LS is based on mag % same as nukes.. plus all LS series got 100% [all books] dmg meanwhile ghostspear 220%+.. use LS as backup skills..

u do know that ghost spear is a str based attk & the 220%+ is based on it being in the hands of a str char

a int based char when using weapon skills, does dmg based on the imbue & not the weapon skill, cuz a int char that uses a weapon skill w/o imbue will most likely do dmg to any1, unless they're xx lvls ahead

Imo, ice is not essential for any build.
Just look how much phy def it adds, its not much.

people under estimate it but it is essential im building the imbue for it aswell as it does the same damage as the fire if you exclude status damage

Ice is really good, but it only gets good at lv 60.
Before that it's not too bad, but not too good either.
my friend ChipNDale has ice imbue and fire, and always uses ice on me... It's so annoying.
And it's true, ice imbue DOES do alot of damage. I don't think it's so much what the magical damage of an attack is... it's like what level you get it at or something.

want to ask sumthing, at near max int from blue gears(1:2 get about 92% mag balance from gears) and for a char that has imbue and nuke level the same as his level, can u 1 shot the mob around his level?

With 92% balance unless you are have very good weapon you shouldn't be able to 1 shot a mob your level. Unless maybe doing sss with double crit.

My int hybrid is sword and with gear has only 90% mag balance. He can nuke+lion shout mobs, and sometimes he'll be lucky and just nuke kill.

Is this build any good? I hear it is, but I"m doubting it because of grind speed.
I wanna be able to grind fast.

i do have 1:2 hybrid..but it is sword...74% naked mag...94% with gear and dont statisfy with the nuke damage...dont know what is wrong but mob at my level either double nuke(still ok) or double nuke+shout(this is what i am dissapointted at)

i am making a new char targeting 80% naked for spear...so i also want high level maybe 70,7x,80 1:2 spear or sword to post something here about the balance HP and nuke balance so newcomer doesnt only attracted to increase HP but also get bonuses from grinding speed.

1:2 sword in my opinion is not a good build...need more int bias i think

Ok I have a question , Im lvl 33 pure int spear, if I go str till 55 it will be the same right ? + you wrote that u went zero skill gap till 40 and then SP farmed ?Im sorry for the dumb question but how exactly do you sp farm at lvl 40 ?And its imposible to max out all the skills during you level from 1-40 with a zero level gap so how did you spent your SP only ot fire and spear skills ?
