Why should I choosse lighting over Fire? The only advantage I see is the mov speed. I would really like to choose fire since I think it's better. But how do I solve the mov.speed problem?

fire gives mag defense and as pure int, you have enuff mag def. lightning gives mag attk, and that's always good. :)

extra defence is never bad.

fire:
- strongest imbue
- immunity
- mag defence
- fire wall
- phys attack increase
- strongest nukes

would be suitable for a hybrid int user or full int

light:
- splash damage with light imbue
- speed +ghost walk
- mag. attack increase
- parry :-/

would suit a full int best (with full ice included)

Light Nuke - 300% +18%
Fire Nuke - 330%

Light Imbue @ level 98 - Mag. Atk. Power 682~1267
Fire Imbue @ level 98 - Mag. Atk. Power 860~1484

Fire wins.

There's not such a thing.

This is how I see it:
Fire gives basically a wider variety of nukes to choose from, magical defense, fire wall and immunity.
Lightning on the other hand gives speed/mobility, and the lion shouts.

Ah, another thing, unless I'm outdated, from what I can remember the lightning mag % atk boost would make it hit nearly as much or more than fire's stronger imbue + stronger nuke. So in that inquiry I'd say both are somewhat equal.

It's all up to what you prefer, there's not a best one, unless it's based on your personal opinion, what's the best for you.

Your memory is old. At 100 cap, the new fire nuke + fire imbue will do more dmg than light nuke + light imbue.

Yup after 80 skills or 90 cap was released they updated the fire nukes: At lv 70 the meteor will be 315 % instead of 300% and at lvl 80 it will be 330%. Which is a huge difference.

Just to be absolutely sure (sorry about this, I am like this :P ), what you are saying is fire100/lightning0 will deal more damage than lightning100/fire0?

And, could you tell me how big the difference would be from what you've seen/heard?

Thanks for the info, really appreciate it. :)
