I was wondering which subclass I should choose for Warlock. I can choose between those two:

  • Bard: I can solo much using DoT's + Moving March. I get ignored by monsters but I don't got any healing skills.
  • Cleric: I can heal, but I need to buy speed pills to solo with DoT's. I got recovery division and much more usefull skills.

Which should I choose?

If you want to pvp later on go with cleric. A warlock / bard just isn't good in pvp.

As a Warlock/Bard you run extremely fast thanks to Moving/Swing march, but otherwise it has no really good benefits (plus without RD you get pwnd by party mobs). With a cleric subclass you have better buffs to buff yourself with like Recovery Division, Bless Spell, Holy word and so on, increasing your "tanking" capability enormously, therefore allowing you to kill party mobs and/or mobs higher level than you. Also a cleric subclass is way better for PvP as Bard is pretty useless in that way. I'd go with Cleric Sub.

I dont believe anyone could cap a character by soloing only...
Its just boring, euro party is what is the deal... Just take Cleric subclass, there are countless reasons why its much better than Bard, and I cant be arsed to write them down.

take bard till 30, start collecting curst hearts at 20,,,by 40 you should hve enough to dlvl bard for cleric.

at lvl 40 think abt all that bard gave you and if you wanna lose it for RD,bless, heals

If you don't care about solo pvp, no reason why you shouldn't go bard. You will train much faster with the speed buff. Since you have vampire touch, it's not as important to have cleric heals (although recovery division IS nice). With the trap sleep bug and impotent, even a warlock bard can take on a similar level party mob... although with noise you don't have to unless you want to.
