Alright I started SP farming at level 16, with an sos glavie(yea yea I know I should have gotten a bow, but i'll manage) and I currently have about 2800 skillpoints. When would be a suitable point to stop farming if I plan on going into 2 weapon masteries(1 main, archer mastery for just the hawk) and 3 elemental skills(fire:main force, lightning:for the grasswalk, and cold:for the armor buffs)? Also im going for a pure str glavie build, so if there are any tips on what skills in each element i should or should not get, please feel free to say so.

100-120k is usually a good point to stop b/c you'll get 70k just 0 gap to 70.

5 masteries? Have fun while farming.

You should make around 100k for that.

1 weapon tree and 3 force trees, two of them with full nuking ability, will cost you a grand total of ~250k sp from 0-70. Go buy a sos bow and farm in the den. Better yet, go buy a SOM bow and 1 shot bandits and you'll get 100k+ sp in no time, especially if you get a gold ticket and a monkey. The best thing about farming in the den is getting a shietload of wind2. I'm farming at the moment and get 500-600 sp an hour without gold ticket. You do the math, it won't take that long. I don't know about you but I have another char and I farmed only 50k total. Sometimes I had to come off of the 0 gap, and man, did it seem like leveling took a long time.

If you can farm all of your sp at once and be able to stand farming for however long it takes you, do it.

Thanx for the responses guys, but I been thinking about something else. The strategy posted in here http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=1243 states that he kept a 6 level gap from level 18 and then spread the gap out to an 8 level gap at 30-37. If I were to decide to follow this pathway as an alternative to gaining some skillpoints, how many skillpoints should I farm at the bandit archers that will give a grand total of 100k skillpoints doing both the farming+the strategy listed in the link(level 18:6 level gap to level 30:8 level gap-level 37)?

Oh btw, I recently calculated the skillpoints needed for my build and it would be around 70k-80k from my current level up to level 60.

Here is kind of my planned build

Spear mastery=level 57-60
Fire Master=level 50-55
Cold mastery-level 40-45(for armor buffs)
Lightning mastery-40-45(for grasswalk and possibly passive)
Pacheon(AKA Archer) Mastery=level 40-45(for passive and hawk training, excluding the black hawk).

spear - at least 60
fire - 70
cold - depends how far you want to go with it, but if you want to go with it you might as go all the way because the increase in defense isn't that much at 40-45...
lightning - 52
pacheon - waste of sp if your build isnt an archer
