I dont find PvP fun unless its group pvp. So would it be better for me to get cold if I only do PvE and Group PvP?

i think cold is better in job and pvm. you can be slightly hybrid and switch to cold. because cold hybrid archers are like pure str archers. fire str gets defence for adding str. cold hybrid gets defence from cold. fire archer gets power from fire. cold archer gets power from cold and a few int pts. get what im sayin?

Hybrid archers have a low crit power. This is the greatest loss an archer can have, as he relies on crits to kill.
Pure STR fire is the way to go.
